Id say they're similar in passing ability. Its quite worrying actually, other than eriksen we don't have anybody that can find a final ball.

Perfect player for bringing the ball out from the back, can also drop a shoulder in more advanced positions, and strong enough to challenge the opposition.
I'm fairly confident there is a Carrick/Alonso style player in there. I just hope Pochettino can bring it out as Moussa could be a huge asset but, as has been pointed out, he will be entering his third season with us and really needs to start imposing himself on games.

Quite possibly, I really hope so! However, nobody can really make a statement like that until he actually proves it in a spurs shirt.
He's already proven beyond any doubt in my mind that he can and regularly will provide top quality through balls for runners. The question is more... can he fit in to the overall team dynamic and impose himself on games across 90 minutes. I think so but not if he's pushed wide or too high ahead of the play.
My argument's that he hasn't proven it in a spurs shirt, so I'm not too sure how he's proven it beyond any doubt in your mind? Unless you just have a soft spot for him and want him to come good?
He cost nearly twice as much as Jenas and Jenas I can say provided me with more entertainment. If we can get our money back on him we should definitely take it.
He's our best midfielder and it's not even close
When fit and on form I agree. Sadly his fitness is never going to be 100% as he has a messed up hip.
I think he's underrated by our fans generally, but I also think he declined massively throughout last season and it's very worrying.
He's certainly a flawed player, but he's also a different player than a lot of people seem to think he should be. If he could find a final ball with consistency or score a lot of goals, he would not be playing for Tottenham Hotspur.
I like him as a holding player. At his best he's tidy, available, difficult to dispossess, a good ball-winner, and a great asset when we counterattack. Kind of a rich man's Joe Allen. No he's not going to score 10 goals from midfield or slice through lines of defense with his passing or spray the ball 70 yards with precision, but anyone who says he "can't pass" is absolutely blind. His pass selection is conservative, but that isn't nearly the horrible thing it's made out to be.
Last season I really don't think he was near his best in any of these areas. He seemed like he'd run a marathon before each match--he was almost always leggy and often careless. He honestly looked half-fit almost the entire season. He's a languid player to begin with but it looked like he had sandbags strapped to his ankles at times.
The season prior he was an absolute beast (particularly in the first half)...I really refuse to believe he's permanently declined that much in the space of one season.
You missed Bobbys goal against villa then.paulinho's passing is poor at best. He can knock around 10 yard passes under no pressure, no problem. Ask him to play a clever diagonal or open up a back four and he's left wanting.
You need to watch Spurs more mate.My argument's that he hasn't proven it in a spurs shirt, so I'm not too sure how he's proven it beyond any doubt in your mind? Unless you just have a soft spot for him and want him to come good?

Holtby has made plenty of killer passes as he did for Fulham.
