Our best cm by far
Really? I think we are starting to go over the top with praise for a very promising young player before he has really lived up to that mentioned promise. Not saying he hasn't been quite/very good at times last season and for Algeria, but lets temper the praise, like many have to temper some of their criticism for other players. We are a sensationalist lot us footy fans.

I'm not really familiar with their other CMs, but from the way it's going it looks like they're set up for countering via route 1 and down the wings so have possibly gone for more defensive players in the middle.

Seems to be working well so far too!

I've been saying it before the World Cup he's just carried on his spurs form, have you seen his stats he make the most passes in the team guys a beast and he's not even in his preferred role box to box

Wow, i almost forgot Ramadan had started. Who's to say the Algerian team wouldn't have done better against Germany, all things considered.

I don't think many players are fasting as there are conditions of travel and hard labor that will allow exception. That of course depends on how rigid the belief is with any player, but there are probably not many that are fasting on game days.

Wow. Pretty sure that'd be widely frowned upon...

No. It is quite common practice. Mitigating circumstances can be utilised to excuse yourself from it. I.e. I imagine a Surgeon probably doesn't fast until he can get time off.
