I think he gets a contractual 21 day break, but may decide to return sooner. Same as Udogie after his exit.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Yeah, up to the player. I remember Pedri doing something similar in 2021 going directly from Euro 2020 to representing Spain in the Olympics in the space of a month or so. In Skipp's case, I can see him cutting it short as he only got about 160 minutes during the Under 21 competition and he's likely going to buzzing after winning a trophy and getting to come back to Spurs to impress Ange.

Skipp seems to be the type of player who will be back at spurs as quick as he can.
This is a lad that used to sit in on Contes video sessions when he was out with his groin issue, just so he was still part of the squad and not falling behind.
He's an intelligent lad and eager to learn and improve, I'd probably put money of him having a week off at most, if that.

I think it’s nuts to want rid of this lad so soon. He’s in the England u21 squad. He’s still so young and costs us nothing. Give him until at least 23/24 to see what he can do

Oh yeh, certainly don’t think we’ll get rid of him. He’s come through the system and is a good example to the academy kids, he has a lot of potential still and has now got a couple of seasons of prem experience and he’s homegrown. He has things to work on in his game and we should be looking to bring in more quality but I never feel like he is going to let us down.

After watching his podcast appearance it's even more bonkers to me how some want to ship him out.

What a fine young man he is. Spurs through and through and genuinely grounded.

His game will allow Maddison and Biss to run riot next season.

Same haters looked down on players like Carrick and Parker.

He's not close to being at the level of carrick or parker yet though.
This to be honest, cracking lad, brilliant desire and attitude, but for me, current level is too high woth current capability.
Probably not fair assessing that on last season in all honesty, so will see how he fairs

Extremely underrated because he doesn’t come from abroad or because he doesn’t have fancy boots or a fancy hair cut.

Excellent footballer, in 2-3 years will be in the England team still finding his feet after a nasty injury under a shocking manager last year, will surprise many this year and when he does eventually leave if he does ever leave we will appreciate him a lot more.

Neither were they at Skipp's age. But great point. 🙄
I like Skipp, but in fairness he's only a few months younger than Carrick was when we signed him, and less than a year younger than Parker was when Chelsea bought him. I think he's at an age now where he needs to be playing regularly.

He pretty much has been when he's not been injured.

I'd say it is the other way around. He's been overrated for a long time because he is one of our own.

With that said, I'm in no way ready to write him off yet. He showed a lot of promise a lot of times before his injury struggles. Not sure how he fits into Ange's team though. I don't think he suits the nr. 8 role, and I don't think he is good enough on the ball for the nr. 6 role.

I hope he turns it around!

Who will he be in the England team over? Genuinely interested as to where he could play? There’s genuine quality young English talent coming through as well. Skipp wasn’t even part of the best 11 England fielded at the u21s.
