What the actual f*? I can understand Sporting playing hard ball for a month to get the most out of this transfer, and wasting our time a bit, but why the heck would they waste their own time for that long just to flip us off?

This can't be good for porro either who must have been set on leaving. Hopefully sporting can come to their bloody senses...

Heard nothing my end but if true I'm done with this club!

Just brilliant news to start the day!!!!!

**** off!!!!!!
Why? Hardly our fault if, and it's a big if, it's true. These journalists have proved over and over they don't know what is going on with this one, so I'm not overly worried just yet.

Honestly if we’re serious about this we should have just paid the release clause.

Spent a month pissing about, let him play in a final and now Sporting have had time to change their minds.

It’s unfortunate but it’s also just not ruthless enough from us.

How can a move for a player with a release clause be “off” before the window close when he is willing to sign?

Assume what they had planned as his replacement fell through and they now require more upfront cash to fund an alternate. Sucks.

If we didn't fuck about and wait almost 4 weeks to get serious with negotiations we wouldn't be in a position where Sporting can bend us over a barrel.

1. If we were able/willing to pay the release clause it would have been done by now.
2. It could be Sporting trying to out-Levy, Levy.
3. Will wait for some ITK, but Ornstein wouldn’t publish this without substance.
4. Fuck
