So many big Spurs twitter accounts suddenly, so much sewage... swear most of them have been set up by other teams' press offices...

This has me hooked~ I keep coming back to it laughing each time~ cheers for postingHello, yes, we are ready to deal. We won’t be willing to meet the full release clause, but here’s a couple of defenders we think may interest you.
The defenders:

How come no other club is chasing Porro and about to gazump us? Theres a story out today about United and Chelsea keen on Spurs target Raya. Why are we alone in pursuing Porro? So good, only Paratici and/or Conte can see it?
Not sure. Usually good players have more than one club after them. But I wouldn't say it's a predictor of a player's success or failure either way. I suppose at least his current club seem to value him.Isn’t that a good thing?
They might change their tune closer to the end of the window. Let's hope.Disagree to be honst... we know they will only deal at full whack
I admit... it sounds so werid to include a clause from another player... but it just sounds like something DL would do.Record (the reputable source when it comes to Sporting, but also very pro-Sporting) are reporting that we've upped our offer and suggested including the 50% future fee from Edwards: https://www.record.pt/futebol/futeb...-edwards-por-porro?ref=HP_DestaquesPrincipais
€34m + the 50% (which is about €20m if he went for his release I think). There must be some thought that when/if Edwards leaves, it won't be for his release.
edit: sorry, my translation may be wrong. It could be reducing the sell on by 50%, so to 25%. That does make more sense all round. Sporting often buy and sell parts of a players' 'pass' as it's known there.
Guess no one needs a right wing back who could put bid usNot sure. Usually good players have more than one club after them. But I wouldn't say it's a predictor of a player's success or failure either way. I suppose at least his current club seem to value him.
Happens all the time in Portugal. With Pote for example, Sporting started by buying 50% of his pass (so buying him, but then including 50% of future transfer), and then bought another 20% at some point. Can't remember if they've bought the whole lot now, but it's always used as a negotiation in Portugal, especially domestically and with South American teams. They might change their tune closer to the end of the window. Let's hope.

Did we do something like that when we got VdV from Madrid?
Personally... I think we are close... just a matter of time. Hopefully no one barges in.
Then swiftly hung up after Haaland’s goal. The minute that second goal went in you could literally hear Levy’s voice:
“Sarah, get Lisbon on the phone”
In fairness, there are back four systems that still utilise fullbacks in the same way. Please only sign him if he can play RB (as well as RWB). No point if he can't as Conte will be gone and we'll (hopefully) be back to playing better football from a 4-2-3-1 type formation.
Relieved after watching the last two matches I reckon - still time for him to pull outAnother week and no progress. We’re a joke. Imagine how the player feels.
How do you know progress has been made?Another week and no progress. We’re a joke. Imagine how the player feels.
They have 2 big games this month. If I were them I would drag it out saying the same but after Tuesday it will move imoI might be wrong with this and it’s a result of a lot of the coverage being wide of the mark, but all the reporting has been it’s either pay the release clause or he’s not leaving, we can spend weeks on end sending offers that in a roundabout way are equal to the release clause, but sporting have been clear that they don’t want to sell him (especially this month) and the only way he leaves in their eyes is in the event they are bound by the terms of his contract to let him go (release clause triggered), spurs must think rightly or wrongly there’s a deal to be done but we’re 3 weeks in to the window, he’s been the #1 target since New Year’s Day and it doesn’t look like it’s moved forward at all since then
Interesting - i suppose we could have moved on if we were desperate for a body asap but the fact we're waiting could indicate he's conte's preference and we dont want a repeat of the situation spence finds himself in. let's just hope it gets done eventuallyThey have 2 big games this month.
