Mudryk would have gone to Arsenal if they hadn't fannied about with the fee. Much like the issue we seem to be having but there was never concrete news about an agreement for Arsenal and Mudryk like there is for Porro and us.
You say fanied about with the fee.... others say refuse to pay 100m for a talent, albeit it a good talent, who has barely played.

It's not that Chelsea are paying the fees over the life of the contracts, it's that Chelsea can amortize the fees over the life of the contract. That later is how Chelsea can stay within the parameters of FFP rules. Chelsea could presumably pay the release cause up front if they wanted.
Agreed, but it will limit their future spending.

We can worry all we want but there is not a damn thing we can do about this transfer - or any.
Personally I think this gets announced Monday.

hopefully we have our next target lined up

Extra from Pedro Porro: Manchester City has a 30% capital gain. The (imminent) sale to Tottenham for 45 M € will yield almost 11 M € for citizens. Sporting, in turn, fits 34 M €

I reckon he flies he flies over on Sunday for a medical on Monday, announced Tuesday.

Although sometimes when they're running that late, they may just wait until deadline day for the announcement.

JUST IN: Pedro Porro to #thfc is imminent. | @brunoandrd

Also mentions that ManCity will receive 11 mill €.
Explains why City sold him quite cheaply to Sporting.
The whole transfer market is a muddied world , the loan deal we did with Betis for Lo Celso another example.

It will likely depend if there's anyone else inbound on Tuesday or not. There's been a fairly consistent pattern recently of having a transfer like this that this is dragging near the end of the window and the the announcement comes out around midday or so on deadline day if we've not got anyone else in the works.

Willian signed for Chelsea 10 years ago, people need to get some closure and move on.
You’re right, of course, but It’s amazing to me how little closure I have on this. Just reading about it now makes my blood boil thinking of him sat in the spurs office with his pen in hand, and then getting that call and just standing up and walking out to Chelsea. I need therapy.

I find it ridiculous that you put a major move at risk by playing for the club you are leaving. I get that its a cup final, but its still a massive massive risk.

It’ll be Porro & Danjuma and we will be done won’t it.

Obviously good signings and very excited about both of them but really really hope we will get Porro over the line soon and then also get a 3rd signing either a CB or another AM ? otherwise we will be a bit short again.

I get this but footballers can get injured anytime. He could do his ACL in training today, or in his first game with us.

They can and it happens 100%, but you dont put yourself in a position where you are upping the %'s that it will. I'm not sure most players even train when they are close to moving anyway?
