In general transfers feel more protracted these days, because the likes of Romano are giving hourly updates. There’s a lot more “sources” of information and a need to constantly produce content that makes things more wearisome. This will happen, he'll play the final and then come to us but once it is all done and dusted can we resolve never to try to buy from a Portuguese club again.
Fuck sake it's exhausting.
One transfer is not going to affect the general consensus. Sure there are people who will use this to slam Levy if it fails as there are people who would slam Conte if we bought Zaniolo as there are those that will use Royal to slam Paratici etc etc. But most people here who want Levy out have come to that conclusion long before our interest in Porro and will continue to have that feeling regardless of whether or not we sign Porro. Any real fan will want this to happen along with any other target our manager wants because they know this will ultimately make us stronger.Feel like people actually want us to not sign this guy so they can use it to bash Levy and the board.
Love how Our friend Romano is now saying an announcement Mon/Tuesday, not being funny but window closed on bloody truest day! Hedging ones bets me thinks
Yes I’m aware thank you , was talking more about how he continually moves his stanceOr as the last 4/5 pages have said, he has a cup final this weekend, so probably won't move until after it
How many more players are they going to sign? ? It’s reaching Nottingham Forest levels now!Looks like Chelsea are getting the Lyon RB after all (so much for Aulas and his ridiculous statements), so that rules them out too
Malo Gusto transfer news: Chelsea complete £26.3m deal for Lyon right-back with player returning to France on loan
Chelsea have agreed to pay £26.3m plus add-ons for the services of 19-year-old Malo Gusto; Earlier this month, Lyon head coach Laurent Blanc said that the board had guaranteed to him that Gusto would stay at the club for the rest of the seasonwww.skysports.com

I think this is a form of copping mechanism people have adopted, if things don't go to plan.Feel like people actually want us to not sign this guy so they can use it to bash Levy and the board.
