I'm pretty frustrated with it all but can we keep this thread a little fresher...

It's not Porro's fault we thought we'd bring in a couple more players, and he looks a class act.

Can't wait to see him Romero and Deki in action. ?

Just announce already ffs. The media content can be worked on in trenches. Every new signing is like the worse kept secret. Fuck any excitement.

I wouldn’t say angry, i probably sound angry, but just fed up with the same shit every year more than anything.

yep, he’s a very good player, but it doesn’t address our main issues etc etc
But for months, many on here have said that getting a quality RWB was our biggest issue.

They don't take siestas in Portugal

"The siesta is the traditional daily sleep of the Southern region of Alentejo, in Portugal, known as sesta. It was adopted also by the Spanish and, through European influence, by Latin American countries and the Philippines."

Really?

look, I’m not saying it’s a poor signing, the complete opposite in fact, he’s quality, but this one position is unlikely to stop our last line of defence shipping in and gifting stupid goals like they have done all season so far.
This signing, just isn’t enough in my opinion, so it’s difficult to get too excited given how poor we’ve been

It addresses our Main issue though? WB's are 100% key to conte's system? We have other ones, granted, but it's not like this signing isn't a huge step forwards in a position we needed it.
See post above, I don’t think wing backs is our biggest issue given the mistakes we make behind and to the side of them.

but as I posted, he is quality, it just isn’t enough, and honestly, come the summer, will be the same thing (80 mill needed for this chap and kulu), yet we need more work!

What is the reason for delaying the announcement this long?! Where is the benefit in chucking this out at 10pm?!

If you have to have all personnel and everyone coming within earshot of Porro screened and cleared of any Evertonian links, then the delay seems reasonable. Transfer wars are hectic these days with swooping and what-not.

People don’t work on your schedules. “Please can you do this for 6pm” - no, Mr Client sir, because it takes me longer than that to just “get the docs out”.

The reason this is taking this long - is because that’s how long it takes.

Levy forgot to book in the overtime for the media team

Paratici and Levy are currently trying to find the passwords to our social accounts

Just got word that the reason for the delayed announcement is that we've accidentally signed Pedro Poirot instead...
