My favourite moment of his was when he got substituted...

But NOT because I'm making a shit arsey snide joke like so many "fans" like to...

But rather because he charged off with energy and optimism and no sulking or feeling aggrieved. You could see he just wanted us to go on and win. Top mentality. He's had a torrid start to his Spurs career but I fucking loved that about him last night.

Despite having some work to do defensively he’s definitely made a massive impact to our attacking play. Scoring a couple and assisting a couple already despite coming into a shambles midway through the season in the most competitive league in the world is impressive.

He will excel in a team that keeps the ball better and has more bodies in the middle of the pitch.

Bentancur and Bissouma/PEH alongside Skipp in the middle, or even 2 of those 3 and a more creative new signing would do wonders for him. One to cover the space when he goes forward along with a better CB next to Romero and jobs a good un.

Scored a couple of very nice goals in a team lacking confidence, creativity and spark.

Plenty to be positive about. He's only played about 6 games for us.

2 goals in, what, 8 starts? And both absolute belters.

If we can find a system that makes up for his weaknesses or coach him in the right way then we've got an absolute weapon on our hands (the good kind). It's really not easy to find a wing back with that quality in the final 3rd

Sometimes you get players where with the right coach, right system/formation, right position and right teammates that they will soar as a player and I think this guy is one of them. He’s shown some defensive weakness but on the ball I think he shows tremendous potential if we can consistently give him the platform to use it. A possession based 352 with more ball players in midfield, better support behind him at CB (Romero isn’t the problem, him having so much to do because of incompetent partners is the problem) and I think he’ll be superb

100% trent is such a great example. Liverpool found a way to cover for his defensive weakness with their midfield and he was incredible.

The midfields declined so he got exposed this season abd looked a liabiltiy, but they've tweaked it again lately and he's started looking great again.

Very few players are really great at every aspect of their position and have weaknesses. That's where good coaching and tactics are meant to come in.

It was odd that in the first half there were a few times the ball went to the back post and he was nowhere to be found.

got no worries about Porro, he has come into the club at a turbulent time, a completely different league but I think shown enough that under the right coach, will be a huge benefit for us...a good pre-season, upgrades at CB and CM and I think we will be fine next season, get a DM to play with Bissouma, Bentancur and we will look a much better side..

I reckon a change to 352 instead of 343 will help him out defensively. An extra body in midfield to cover so can bomb forward

Always playing 3 in CM has enabled Liverpool to cover for very aggressive WBs. Expecting 2 midfielders to do that isn't going to work, especially when they also have to try to shield Dier who is very vulnerable when players run at him.

He does have great technique and confidence in the final 3rd. If we actually were an attacking team he would be perfect

Which sort of makes you wonder why he was chosen for Conte's system. Says a lot about our recruitment strategy or lack of. I hope he does well.

If we had a decent defensive side of our game as a platform this boy would be able to get forward with confidence. Unlucky with his effort today but my, my he has a shot on him.

He looks so confident. Even after some terrible performances so far he still backs himself for a cross or a shot. He has been very hit and miss but you can really see how much confidence he has in himself.

Yeah I think as part of a well organised settled defence he’s gonna be fine. Another shocking mistake from him today, but he’s not exactly playing in a well organised defence.

The fact he wasn’t aware Jones was behind him for the first is totally unacceptable. He was ok going forward but teams will attack his side on a regular basis and he needs to be much more switched on .

Our defence is a dumpster fire. Dier is playing like the worst defender in the league atm, and I say that as someone who usually sticks up for him. Romero has just lost all focus, which is unprofessional but the mess the club is in I kind of get. Remind me of Jan in the Sherwood season.

My point is Porro will come good. He just needs coaching and some semblance of control and calm next to him

I think we should stick with him. I like his attitude and I think given time with better coaching he will become a crucial part of the team.
