Sonny improved a bit against the spammers so hopefully turning the corner - give Harry a bit of a rest and bring him on for one of the others depending on how it is going.

He needs to start. Son continuing to get games whilst so out of form makes a mockery of the supposed squad depth.

I think Conte is hoping he plays his way into form, and dropping him might make things worse for Son, but the team is the greater importance and at the moment our chances of winning games is surely better with Richarlison on the pitch.

I would find a formation to accommodate Rich Saturday, play him with sonny,kane and kulu against a Fulham team who play a fairly slow mitrovic up front alone.
No need to play 3 Ch at the back at home to certain sides.
4-2-3-1 please with kane dropping off .

I can still envisage Conte being belligerent over Richarlison and starting Son on the weekend but does annoy me the narrative of Son being 'dropped' and how his confidence will be affected yet at the same time after promising cameo's Richarlison needs to be thrown a bone here too.

It's a squad game and a long arduous season ahead which is why it made little sense for Conte to use just one sub - especially when you consider games coming in thick and fast.
