Hes starting to get it, he looks fitter and more confident - good performance yesterday...can see him improving more and more now.

I watched the match highlights and he twice created chances with composed passing... Walker couldn’t do that. He has to be our 1st choice RB/RWB now. Hopefully Rose continues to get up to speed and knuckles down. They’re both vital to how we play or should I say if we want to emulate last seasons fluid performances.

Agreed! He needs a run of games now. No more chopping and changing let him become settled in that role. We need our full backs to be tenacious and pin the opposition back. Something Trippier is incapable of I'm sad to say

I don't think Aurier was properly fit much before now. I've been really disappointed in his pace, because he looks like he should be quicker than he is. But now I suspect that's down to him carrying excess weight and lack of general (pre-season) fitness. He did look trimmer and nippier yesterday than previously, so hopefully that continues to improve.

But no, at the moment he's still some distance behind Walker, for all the latter's faults. Let's hope Serge continues to close that gap as the season wears on.

He made that 1 mistake playing it out from the back that could’ve cost us but he had a good game other than that.

He’s a very good player but every game you can see why PSG got rid

The brain farts will reduce as he gets more used to the team and how we function. Walker, even after 8 years made mistakes but his pace often rescued him. He’s an athlete but certainly not the brightest Apple on the tree.

When he signed how long did we say we’d think it would take for him to get up to speed under porch? 3/4 months wasn’t it?

He looks better now. I’d just give him a decent run of games. He’s our best option at right back.

Looked a lot quicker on his YouTube vids. Which is strange as you can usually tell if they a speed merchants.

There was a moment in the match where he could have slid in for a challenge just inside our area, I was 100% expecting him to do it too, he hesitated, and pulled out and Sanchez cleared up behind him. It stuck out for me cos I thought 'wow, they must be telling him not to, and he's taking that on board.'

Will take the rest of this season for Poch to sort him out properly and settle him down. Next season he'll start to show proper value imo.
