I think we can cover Trippier weaknesses better than Aurier.

Trippier and Sissoko have good chemistry in that if Trippier bombs forward, Sissoko covers well.

Aurier and Sissoko chemistry just wasnt there on weekend.

Maybe not on the weekend but they normally link up quite well

I've never really understood how Poch decides who's better for what game because seemingly to me Trippier is perfect against a team like Burnley and Aurier has faired better in these type of games yet this season for the most part he's selected them the opposite way.

I’m not one for the awful criticism of some of our players, Trippier in particular but Aurier is far the superior right back. Poch will continue to rotate the full backs but I believe Aurier should be first choice and would only benefit from a sustained run in the team.

To be honest he's just in the portion of the cycle that our RB's go through which is "good performance, needs to kick on now", won't be long until he makes an error, Trippier comes in and the cycle continues until the summer. He had a fairly decent game though.

Poch needs to play him on Saturday - Aurier needs a run of games... his performance tonight was very good but he can only build on that if he plays again and again and gets in that mojo and rhythm

Admittedly I'm being cynical because I said this about him earlier in Season and he let us down, I'd love for it to happen but he's had a lot of chances now, I agree he should play Sat and be given the opportunity as it means Trippier gets a much needed rest.

First half he was all over the place positionally and all the attacks were down that side, if that's Trippier I think we all know what is said.

Second half was better, culminating in that run and cross at the end, but there was still quite a lot of the nonsense in that 90 minutes and riding his luck. I don't think we have learned anything, we have two right backs who do some good things and have plenty of flaws also.

Theres no question in my mind Aurier is by far a better defender than Trippier. Poch really should give him a run of games imo.

We're pushing that as a good performance again, yeah?

Go to bed dude. I know you adore Trippier but that was a magnificent performance from the back 5 away to one of the best attacks in all of Europe... Not fucking Wolverhampton wanderers

Did you notice Harry Kane setting an all time club record there?

Eat your liver like a good chap.

Poch gave you the night off to rest and this is how you're spending it, Kieran?
