The problem with that is if you pushed the Asian Cup to the European off season then it would fall in the middle of most of the Asian leagues, disrupting their domestic games considering the number of players that come from those leagues that play in the tournament.

he is gonna miss the first 2 matches. so likely the big one on 16 Jan vs China. So after the 12/13 Jan weekend matches.

worst case, he will be back after the finals on 01 Feb.

Son is underrated because he is not a dribbling mechanism or as fast as Lennon. But he is one of the most effective wingers.

Coincidentally, I’m 47 next month and Son has become one of my favourite all time players too.

He’s in my favourites along with Hoddle, Waddle, Gazza & Ginola.

In fact Kane, Alli, Eriksen and Son are all in my list of favourites.
