We let him piss about in Asia for a quarter of the season, it’s thanks to us that he doesn’t lose his very well paid career to military service, and at the crunch moment he loses his head for seemingly no reason whatsoever.

Disgusted with him. It won’t be his fault if we fall out of top 4, that’d be a collective failure, but he has massively let the club down with today’s action and it poses huge questions regarding whether he has the character to be part of what we need to push forward.

He just lost it - it is rare for him to act the way he did... ill let him off but we were in control up until the sending off

We should have won the game even with nine men because we should have been 2 or 3 up

It’s not rare he done it a few times in Germany sadly

Bit harsh for a player who's been nothing but exemplary for the rest of his excellent career with us. Be fair mate

Alright lads - let’s stop trying to outdo each other. He obviously should start on Wednesday because otherwise we have almost no chance of reaching the final. He made a mistake but yes quality and had been all season xoxo

Come on, of course he has.

He's let the team down today massively but questioning whether he has the character to continue with us based on probably the only rush of blood to the head we've ever seen from him in the years he's been with us is quite ridiculous.

Still struggling to get my head around the sending off. His push was not violent conduct, it was just a "get out of the way and let us take free kick" - you see so many of those in matches and either nothing happens or it's at worst a yellow.

There is absolutely no basis for him to be sent off, the only player that should be sent off in that incident is Lerma for his disgraceful dive and cheating, rolling around and holding his face.

Don’t think we had any choice on him playing in the Asia cup.

Guy let us down today but he has done more for us this season than most.

Irrelevant mate, don't give the ref the decision to make full stop.

Definitely violent conduct and thus the Ref was correct.

Frankly, he doesn’t deserve ‘fair’. It’s not as if he was being kicked or being stamped on or being given any reason to react. In a game we were controlling, and one lacking in any animosity, he inexplicably lost his temper, you could see the rage on his face, and in doing so changed the game completely.

Alright lads - let’s stop trying to outdo each other. He obviously should start on Wednesday because otherwise we have almost no chance of reaching the final. He made a mistake but yes quality and had been all season xoxo

He has been better than not, but if someone lives a squeaky clean life, does loads of charity work, reads to underprivileged children, but then beats someone e to death, he’s still a murderer.

We all praise Son deservedly for all the good he does, he deserves vilification for his, and our, worst moment of the season.

Come on, of course he has.

Please see above.

Yes we did, it’s not a Fifa recognised tournament and we could’ve kept him back just like Leverkusen did last time.

Why the wtf @Lumiere? I’m stating a fact in that post, not saying we should have but merely saying what is true, that we had no obligation to release him. Feel free to find any evidence to the contrary.
