I watched a fair bit of him last night. Loads of ‘transit’ play between lines. Pretty ineffective IMO as usual. Useless without the ball. My guess we will be stuck with him again in the Summer. I hope I’m proved wrong.

true youtube player, but when you see him for a whole game everyone that does not only count passes and flicks understands why he will never fulfill his "talent" Lazy bastard...
He was the best player on the pitch yesterday, lol.

His talent is undeniable its just the work rate and mentality, and general body language.

What he does (when hes up for it) isnt dissimilar to bentancour except the latter looks more "up for it".

Create a montage of tanguy looking disinterested/gassed and you have a 10min vid of someone you wouldnt want anywhere near your team.

Hope he fingures it out and comes good but i wouldnt want to have to go through that process in my team when youre not sure it'll ever happen.

Mate, you could take a highlight reel of 1 Bentancur performance for us so far, and still have more to see than you would in a highlight reel of Ndombeles 3 years with us.

He should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Bentancur. A guy who, from the minute he entered the club, has shown a desire to work for his manager, his teammates & the supporters.

he looked okay, some typical skillful moments and passing, he looked a little heavy i thought but thats just his body type i guess as he was still running deep into stoppage.
he did have a lot of space in that deep role he was playing.

hopefully he has an even better game and ends west hams hopes next week, that would be really delicious

Hmm not sure about this. Even when Ndombele was shit for us he was still doing some absurd shit almost every match - his highlight reels for Spurs make him look completely world class and he regularly pulled off tons of stuff Bentancur could never do. Those highlight reels sum up why we paid so much for him in the first place - he's a uniquely gifted footballer.

His problem is...literally everything else. Beyond those highlights he's shite at all the boring stuff that actually makes someone an effective midfielder in the Premier League.

100% prefer Bentancur but Ndombele is the far flashier, highlights player of the two of them.

Still have a (heavily fractured) glimmer of hope, that he’ll turn it around next season … as a Spurs player?

His talent is undeniable.

It's not his talent that's disputed. It's his CBA attitude. IMHO he will never be seen in a Spurs shirt again, he's gone.....

I'd be delighted if we could get enough for Ndombele to buy someone like Konrad Laimer. That should be pretty straightforward imo. Ndombele will never provide what Conte demands.

Time to move on until he returns in the Summer, unless Levy is prepared to take a huge hit!!

Extremely important that he doesn’t return……

I thought he was pretty poor overall last night and had all the same issues we saw during his time with us.

Think we will just need to take a loss and move on.

My highlights would include things such as desire to work for the shirt, for the manager, for his teammates.

One of my highlight reels would have Bentancur in it. The other one would also have Bentancur in it.

We signed him for 54m on a 6 yr contract. Under the amortisation rules he drops 9m every year on the books. So, to us, he is worth 27m . If we got a bid of 25m would we take it.
Probably not but I cannot see anyone bidding any more, more likely another loan and hope he can sell himself.
Love the way he waves his arms, pointing to where everybody else should pass the ball while strolling about.

His wages would be as much of an issue as any asking price. Nobody would pay him anywhere near what we have to.

Two of my clients play against him today (well, one of them does, the other is injured).

I'll ask them about how it was to play against him this week and feel if he was lazy etc
