Only reason Levy takes a financial hit like that is if Ndombele is hanging dirty pictures of his daughter over his head.

It make no sense your first statement with the last one about loan with an option.

No way Levy would allow him to leave on loan + option. Maybe with an obligation.

Maybe.

How can we consider selling NDombele after 1 year... he’s had a rough and slow start to his tottenham career but that doesn’t mean we should just sell him.
We can all see his quality and ability so why even consider it. Throw him on a treadmill and his stamina should get better.
Multiple players have had bad first years but That doesn’t mean we should just sell him

actually don’t think it would be a hit from an accounting standpoint. Initial fee was 60 with 6 year deal so 50 now would be exactly break even.

not going to happen, but if you told me this meant we were getting Zakaria at DM I’d sign up for it.

Oh yeh and if we get more 4m for one of the best talents in Europe than relegated B’mouth got for Nathan fucking Ake...

Surely Levy won't take a loss on Ndombele. But if he thinks Skrinar is of equal value to him and they can do a straight swap, maybe it's how he saves face. I know swaps rarely happen in the modern day, but maybe this is the outlier? If we can turn Sissoko + Ndombele into Skrinar + Brozovic and some cash, I think that would be worth thinking about.

But I can't help but feel this is all a bit too FIFA to actually happen though...

People do realise we brought Jose in to win us things in the short term right? Something this club desperately needs, if Jose isn't going to play him, and we can get Brozovic or Skirniar who would both improve our team, then its worth it. Ndombele has had question marks around him at every club he has been at, so don't expect him to miraculously reach that potential in the next few seasons.

Guardian article says Levy is willing to agree a cut fee of £45m. Also, Skriniar may be of interest to Mourinho and Perisic, who Mourinho wanted at Man Utd.

Sorry but that article is absolute bollocks. The last two positions we need to fix this summer is CB and LM.

If this was to happen I’m sure Jose would of been considering the possibility of bids coming in over the last few months and identified targets. Would be a huge shame as the guy has a high ceiling, but attitude, weights issues (problems he’s also had at previous clubs) and injury prone this season maybe it’s more realistic to cut our losses? If he has another stinker this season, his valuation will drastically plummet and we’ll have no chance of scraping back a major percentage of what we paid. A swap deal and cash for Skrinier would be be the best deal in my opinion if he was to go. Maybe also Foyth that way if it means more cash. If this was to happen I feel going after someone like Savic would be ideal under Jose, tall, powerful, good a nicking balls in midfield, can create (which we desperately need to take the strain off lo celso), would be reminiscent of having two units in midfield again alongside PEH. But hey-ho this isn’t fifa

Jesus christ, I log onto Twitter and we're monitoring Perisic and selling Ndombele. I had some sort of pipe dream of José not being his old self, who tried flogging of the likes of Pogba for 2 years, but apparently not. If Levy goes along with Josés typical bullshit of ostracizing or selling every talented younger player who is not a "soldier" that is isn't playing better solely by getting abuse thrown at him we're gonna need years to fix it, just as Man Utd needed. Would be one of his biggest mistakes since taking over.

He should never have signed Pogba in the first place, he's poison. If Ndombele is acting like a lazy prick then Mourinho needs to get him out asap. What's the point of having someone who appears to be a good footballer but can't be arsed. Look at Ozil. You can't keep these players if you get a chance to sell them.

Skriniar + Perisic probably just about represents a good deal. Brozovic doesn’t much appeal to me with Hojbjerg seemingly an inevitability. Inter value Skriniar at around the same amount we do Ndombele. He’s a considerable upgrade to our defence and if we can get them to throw Perisic in as well, who is a player that Jose has rated for some time (and has managed 6 goals and 10 assists for Bayern so far this season) and I think you’ve got good value there. I would love Ndombele to get it together and show his true quality as well. But we’ve seen little to no evidence of him being able or even wanting to do that. May be for the best to move him on so long as the deal for him is a good one.
