I do wonder however if PSG actually have money to spend on players. Thiago Silva will be 34 next season and I know Kimpembe is highly thought of but for a team with their ambitions would surely like a more established player.

I would sell Toby to United, if we get Martial in return. Martial solves our long term 2nd striker problem.
As for as United getting Toby, it would be a big blow. But what good is another defender for a already defensive Mourinho side ?

A really good defender allows them to not play as defensively as they do now, so that in turns allows them to play more offensive. Their defense outside of Bailly and De Gea is just not all that great. Adding Toby allows them to free up Pogba some more, allow wingers to not track back quite as much, etc. Now that is an assumption but that was my general understanding of why ManU played so defensively currently.

I don't know if it works like that in football, but do we really trust United to commit to their part of such a deal? With Mourinho at the helm, who laughed at us for doing a medical before signing the contract of Willian? Don't trust them at all.

Will be a shame to lose him as he has been one of the best centre backs we’ve had since I’ve been supporting them (alongside Ledley and Vertonghen of course).

I've reached the stage where I only care about strengthening us, I don't care if we strengthen another team in order to do that, if you consider that selling Toby will weaken us then even selling to PSG will do that, if selling him to United helps to strengthen us by getting Martial then we are better off.
We need to prioritise strengthening ourselves over everything else.

Not so sure about that. Toby didn't have much protection at the weekend and looked all over the shop. I think he would ensure that they aren't so error prone. Jones and Smalling always have a dumb moment, whereas Toby gives them more consistency.

United would still need to work on that non-functioning attack still. If they keep filling it with big players with no idea on how to make them fit they'll still struggle.

The big issue is how much football does Toby have left in him, he looks broken at the moment.

Just looks like a guy who hasn't played very much recently. Defense is all about rhythm, timing, seeing the game, etc. all of which takes game time to perfect.

Tired of the toby-saga.
I will be fuming if he goes to any top PL team. That just cant happen. If we are serious about being a top club we cant be selling our best players to rivals......you hear me Levy!!!!!
