After the first game of the season Vic was written off, for 2 months BJ had no right to be in a Spurs shirt and after the first 10 games Biss was
not far off world class according to some.
Now would should be moving him on, wow some people need to get a grip. Biss is a good player
who is out of form and with support from coaches, players and supporters that form will return. Every player has a dip in form, it is how long and how they come out the other end that matters. Together we are stronger, COYS.
Before any individual thinks this post is targeted at them, it isn't. These are just the onions of a 52 year old man who has been going to White Hart
Lane since the age of 12. TTID.

I thought Biss was alright today. A few times he carried the ball and it was like watching him from earlier in the season. And he protected the defence well until he got tired. I didn't think he was a weak link at all today.

Biss had a good game today, he set a high standard by which to measure himself at the start of the season and while he wasn't matching that today he still played well, I thought he was better and that's a good sign for the rest of the season and the future.

Overall he had a good game. He should have worked harder for their goal, but he wasn't the only one sleeping.

At least three players are taking a coating over their goal and for some people it’s reinforcing the ‘not good enough’ mantra.

At this rate it won’t be long before we can’t put a team out :D

Made me laugh he was substituted on the far side and was walking slowly round past the park lane back to the dug out when Sonny scored and he was straight onto the pitch the first player to reach him😂

Townsend disagrees an easier take on he’s never had before, Bissouma was less use than a traffic cone for their goal.

It was the lack of any urgency for their goal that was frustrating. He just coasts too much. No chance Bentancur or Hojbjerg trot across like that.

He’s got to do better defensively, otherwise the argument will be why not play two of Sarr/Gio/Bentacur/Holberg (heck even Maddison or Donley in there) against teams who sit back and at least have more ability in possession.

But not writing him off at all, might just need a little time to refocus

I would like to see his running stats and tackles/interception stats comparison between 2 halves. I think he might have fitness/stamina issues.

It was 7.5 games.

Kulusevski is getting worse treatment for recent performances when he's been one of our most consistent all season up to a few games ago.

I watched him closely against Luton because I've been so doubtful and critical of him lately.

Seeing his weakness and lack of effort/care for their goal, I thought f*** off here we go again

But he played well the rest of the match and contributed well. Still on the fence about him long-term but I'll continue to hope he comes back into his best. But if you told me we could swap for Archie Gray right now, I'd do it.

In an ideal world we find a suitable buyer for Hojbjerg in the summer and bring in another DM to challenge Bissouma and further create depth. There are 2-3 positions we need to improve upon in the summer and therefore 2-3 players that will go from starters to backup players, for me Bissouma and Kulusevski need challenging/upgrading and those are very good players to call upon when needed and to rotate across four competitions next season.

Did he? Why?

Stepped back on the field and kicked the ball into the net after Son scored and to round that off, grabbed one of the other balls on the side and booted it to the sky :LOL: It was funny seeing it happen in real time.
