Why would anyone give a fuck about people who write up this sort of shit after they have a bad day? You don't get to call yourself a "supportive fan" when writing that bile. You're a glory hunter or a customer, choose one.

If you can't stand behind the boys in the rough times then don't expect anything from them. Selfish acts of entitlement do not equate to support. Arsenal finished 2nd, I heard that is better than 3rd, maybe you would prefer them.

"Stand by the boys"? Do me a favour. These people are millionaires. TI am perfectly entitled to criticize them after that performance. If I'm shit at my job I expect to get criticized, or let alone sacked. And I don't have the luxury of getting paid 50 grand a week.

All I did was say "they don't care". I am so sorry that because I can't support them while they turn out shit performances that I'm not a proper fan.

When did I ever show a total lack of class, all I said was that the truth is that most of them don't care about the fans. As boring and meandering as that story was it has every bit to do with my overall point.

Also how come they get to put in a totally incompetent lazy performance yet as soon as I make the most inoffensive restrained criticism of these millionaires I'm the one in the wrong?

You very clearly picked a moment to start piling on the team in a moment of weakness, that's classless. You didn't bring up the incident when it happened months ago.

It's very clear what you're trying to do here.

He's not a mad lunatic. He exchanged about 2 sentences of support with them and they couldn't even look him in the eye. Sorry but if they can't even say thank you for shelling out hundreds of pounds to support the team then I'm not going to support them when they play like they did today.

You said he was 'excitable'. So if he's running up to them all fucking out of breath and shit, I'd probably be like what the fuck, as well...to be honest.

I picked a moment to start piling on the team because that moment happened to be a 5-1 defeat to a relegated team with 10 men. It was also a performance where no one tried.

Exactly. AKA being a shit disturber. Instead of criticizing the performance itself you're trying to incite sensitive fans.

To play Devils advocate.. I really in the grand scheme of things couldn't care less about them either.. I only care when they pull on the Spurs shirt & they do there job, otherwise I don't know them as people.. they don't know me.. so couldn't care less about meeting them.

I remember starting a Sunday League team a university, many years ago.

We had 9-10 good players, and optimism at the start of the season was high.

However, what I failed to account for at the beginning were the injuries, hangovers and weekends away.

It meant that - every week - we had to draft in 3-4 ringers to be able to put out a team of 11. So, each week, we went from having 10 good players to 6, plus 5 absolute pie chuckers.

For example, our "reserve" goalkeeper was 5 foot 5in. He did his best. Unfortunately his best was to concede an average of 4 goals per game.

Safe to say, our results suffered. We won 1 game all season.

We all cared, it wasn't a question of that. The 'squad' just wasn't good enough.

Same situation at Spurs. I'm not saying Ryan Mason, Ben Davies and Tom Carrol are pie chuckers but now that we have finally had to rely on the squad players in league matches it really shouldn't be a surprise that they've let us down. They aren't good enough. Pretty much everyone said as much when the transfer window closed.

That squad is fucking paper thin, we all know it and we've ridden our luck phenomenally.

Yet we're still in the Champions League.

Chin up.

You are right. They give lip service to the fans but they had four games to wrap second place up and they behaved in an unprofessional manner that allowed the Goons to snatch it.

Poch is to blame for his comments about not being important to finish above them. He virtually sent the team away on holiday with those remarks.

It might not have been.imporrant to him but it was everything to us. They have made us laughing stocks today by being hammered by a ten man relegated team.

It has tarnished the season. It hands Arsenal a psychological boost going into next year that knowing even in our best year in a generation and with them not playing well they can still finish higher than us.

Disgraceful and unprofessional end to a season.

Absolutely this. I was furious when he said it and it left me completely deflated because it proved he doesn't understand a fan's mentality at all. The problem with football now is that it is in its own self contained little bubble.

And most concerning of all is now that our bubble has been well and truly burst I can see us starting badly next season. The air of invincibility has gone. Combined with so many of our players not having an off season rest this year, Poch's well known high intensity fitness regime and the Champion's League games to take seriously? The promise of this year may well evaporate completely come next season.

Looked liked they cared against Chelsea, that's for sure. Dier especially.

If I had some fucking mad lunatic run up to me randomly I'd probably do the same to be honest. For all we know your mate is a complete fucking nut.

No his mate is a fan who pays for Diers wages, either through the turn style, buying a shirt, paying for sky. He should have the courtesy to at least acknowledge someone who travelled that distance and sees him as a hero.

How would you have felt if it was your kid or younger brother who got blown out by his hero.......

Pathetic

You guys completely missed what Poch said. First, he called them "the enemy" - he knows where they rate to supporters. Second, he wanted the squad to finish second - because that was the mentality of finishing strong. And, finishing 2nd would have been ahead of Arsenal.

Poch understands derbys, and he understands that Arsenal are our chief rival - he just wants his players aiming to be the best they can be, and not be defined by one team. They blew it today - but that not because Poch somehow did not want to win the game.

If I were to rank the players in terms of loyalty to the club and to the supporters, Dier would be near the very top.

Lip service and PR. He made his true feelings clear by denouncing Spurs not finishing above Arsenal as important. For all his public outcry after the Newcastle game he has got himself a nice new fat juicy contract, no doubt with a payrise, and probably doesn't give a toss that we finished below Arsenal, having thrown away an 8pt lead in 4 games, and that us fans are going to be mocked to hell tomorrow.

Let me put it this way. Arsenal fans still want Wenger out because in their eyes its been a terrible wasted season. Yet they still had enough about them to finish above us in our best ever Premier League season. And why? Because they cared more.

Whatever helps you get through the day mate. But, Poch's reaction after the game was one of bitter disappointment and embarrassment.

He wanted 2nd - and by extension cares very much that Arsenal passed us.

Lets put it this way - would you be happy right now, if Man City had passed us instead of Arsenal? Yeah, me neither. It sucks either way.

Based on how I see him play the game. He gives full effort every time he plays. That is a player that cares. He is not just collecting wages.

That doesn't prove he is loyal. A person can only prove they're loyal when that loyalty is tested, e.g. if Real Madrid came in for Dier would he turn them down to stay at Spurs?

And even then I believe players are loyal to each other first, their manager second and generally the club/fans third.
