Whatever helps you get through the day mate. But, Poch's reaction after the game was one of bitter disappointment and embarrassment.

He wanted 2nd - and by extension cares very much that Arsenal passed us.

Lets put it this way - would you be happy right now, if Man City had passed us instead of Arsenal? Yeah, me neither. It sucks either way.

No I wouldn't be happy but I'd be less upset. Indeed I know there are financial implications but if I had the choice of finishing 2nd in the league and Arsenal winning it, or finishing 3rd with Arsenal 4th? I'd take 3rd every day of the week. Words cannot describe how much I hate Arsenal and now it's been 21 years since we beat them in the league. And if a shite Arsenal team like this can finish above our so called greatest ever Premier League team? Then it may well be another 21 years until we do manage the feat.

@Mr Pink

Stay classy. I've never even heard of you people before yet you're calling my friend a fucktard just because they committed the terrible crime of going up to one of their idols and calling them heroes? Poor guys, I bet it must be terrible for them being told how amazing they are.

You can't take someone else's opinion on something as trivial as football so you have to resort to name calling. It's pathetic, honestly.

Sorry Tom but your mate sounds like a complete nut case. If he's running up to them out of breath claiming he loves them and they're his heroes they might of thought he was a sandwich short etc.

Poch will make sure they care between now and the first day of preseason, otherwise they'll be out of the door.

They proved that they cared enough during the title race. The motivation seems to have been lost once that was gone.

This isn't something that is new, I think there has been instances where teams have down tooled once they realise what they were fighting has gone. Maybe they have found it hard to re-energise that motivation for another cause, as much as it is painful for us to know that.

Poch is to blame for his comments about not being important to finish above them. He virtually sent the team away on holiday with those remarks.

I

I interpreted that remark differently. If you add in the comment that immediately followed, about what happens if Arsenal finished 7th, should we be happy with 6th, I saw him saying "we don't care only about them, we care about winning" .

Let Arsenal be concerned only with finishing above us. If that's all their ambition stretches to, and all they need to make them happy then they truly are a small-time bunch of no-marks. Poch wants more for our club than his players posting embarrassing selfies on social media because they finished above their rivals. That doesn't mean he doesn't understand the rivalry, or how much it would mean to the fans, and I think his comments after today's game show that to an extent. What it shows is he's a winner.

If some Spurs players don't get that, and saw it as an excuse to go on holiday, then I don't think Poch will see them as Spurs players for the future. He's shown he's all about professionalism, and he was visibly angry (in his post match) with what he'd seen today.

Some of our players might not care, but I reckon Poch does.

No his mate is a fan who pays for Diers wages, either through the turn style, buying a shirt, paying for sky. He should have the courtesy to at least acknowledge someone who travelled that distance and sees him as a hero.

How would you have felt if it was your kid or younger brother who got blown out by his hero.......

Pathetic

Wise up. I doubt it even happened, the timing of the post says it all FFS.

Can i just check, you know that the posters a bullshitter how?

You can't check, that's the point.

But the timing of such a post considering this supposedly happened months ago is pretty convenient.

Someone said supporting Spurs is just like being in an abusive relationship. You keep telling yourself they have changed. You can really see that it will be different this time as they have promised to mend their ways. You want so.much to believe they mean it this time. Then WHAM they smash you in the face with a frying pan when you least expect it.

Car crash of a thread, didn't intend for it to turn in to a massive argument. Please lock

It would have been better put into the existing thread, better yet, you might have waited until emotions weren't so raw............but ask and you shall receive.

Locked.
