Not really because they may go for Diego Simeone or SampoaliWe're fucked then
Also the link with Simeone suggests they are open for the next manager to take it part time

As I said in the poch thread, I cant see how any Argentinean Manager could turn down the national team manager.
This is the opportunity to be considered a national legend in Argentina.
Also every manager who has managed Messi so far has been terrible
This is the last opportunity to be the last manager who manages Messi in a world cup as well as the likes of Aguerro, Higuain and Di Maria during their prime
Whether its Simeone or Poch, this would arguably be the biggest job of their career. This isn't like the england job where the whole country hates the national team. This is arguably their most talented group of players ever managed very poorly by the likes of Sabella and Maradona
As above the press are claiming in Argentina that Messi has changed his mind.Messi has re
Messi retired from International football after the Copa America, didnt he?
No doubt Poch would love this job. When he is in his mid fifties. He is a tracksuit manager, he loves the daily interaction with his players. I hope!!!
Rob Shepherd used to be a Fleet Street hack..it's probably BS but who knows.

@Cyivel its up to Pochettino but yes
Is Rob Shepherd the one that they used to have on Sky? Looks like a fat Morrissey?
Surely they would also try for Bielsa?
Lyall forget to mention Sampaoli which is in the original article that Reuters copied. I swear these "journalists" seem to get worse and worseLyall Thomas @SkySportsLyall 2m2 minutes ago
From @ReutersSports: #Argentina FA want to speak to Maurico Pochettino and Diego Simeone about national team job
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ams-mauricio-pochettino-over-coaching-vacancy
"Mauricio Pochettino and Diego Simeone are among the men Argentina want to talk to about the national team coach vacancy following last month's shock resignation of Gerardo Martino.
Armando Perez, head of an Argentine FA (AFA) Regularisation Committee, also plans to talk to Lionel Messi with a view to asking the team's former captain to reverse his decision to quit international soccer.
The four-person committee, put in place by world body FIFA, was due to begin work on Friday after being sworn in on Thursday."

He seems to have cult following on here and in the UK but the last time he was in charge of Argentina it didnt go so well but he has been linked by some along with Angel Russo as frontrunnersSeems like the obvious choice.
If you are a journalist, the least you could do is find the original source and quote that, rather than getting second hand informationWhat's he done wrong this time?

However in Pochettino, Simeone and Sampaoli you have 3 managers who have done well and achieved something. Whereas Bielsa despite his cult hero status has only taken Atletico Bilbao to the final and taken Chile to the round of 16. Sampaoli has surpassed that.
The article is the original source. It's a copy of the Reuters article. His name isn't attached to it.If you are a journalist, the least you could do is find the original source and quote that, rather than getting second hand information
He is getting paid for this and cant even fully research something he has written
