Saw this last night. Nothing to worry about for a few years but maybe after that. Regardless, its very disheartening to know that we are a now apparently a stepping stone to a fucking Ligue 1 club that never has any competition whatsoever domestically. I only wish we could find a manager who would be here for the long haul.

Didn't Diego Simeone just come out and similarly say it's his dream to go back to Argentina to coach?

I guess Atletico Madrid is just the stepping stone for Argentina.

Should have said, possibly in the future but at the moment I'm happy where I am.

My exact point about the media...i don't doubt Poch never meant he wants to leave in the near future, but like you agree, the media mess about with quotes...best to say nothing about future moves especially with our title hopes hanging on a string and the scum on our coat tails.

He wanted the players 100% focussed and didn't allow them to go to the PFA awards...so he should be equally focussed.

He was just being a polite about a club he used to play for and captain, but c'mon he knew what quote he was giving the media when he said it. You can't really take those words out of context. Poch is media savvy and knew exactly how that would get spun on a crucial week near the end of the season. Disappointed in him.
