i wonder if wed look better as a defensive unit or should just try a back 3, something like: -

Dier Jan Fazio
Walker Mason Stambo Nabil Rose
Eriksen Kane

Maybe something for pre-season?

That actually looks like a very good side. I'd stick Dembele in there instead of Stambouli.

I actually like that a lot - could perhaps place a bit too much responsibility on Walker and Rose but generally looks a lot more solid and fluid than our current set-up.

At RB we have Kabul, Dier, Vlad and Yedlin. my order of choice would be Vlad, Dier Kabul Yedlin. As rotation, try Yedlin as RMF, he can get up and down right side rapidly, cross the ball, and can cover RB from opposition attacks.. At CB Fazio , Verts, LB Rose. I thought Vorm was a bit nervous / rusty against Leicester...But he was let down by defense in front of him..

Would also be a more useful system to ease Yedlin into I reckon. I know playing wing back is more difficult than full back, but it would take a bit of pressure off his defensive duties and give him more freedom to get up the pitch

Here's what's going to happen: Pochettino gets the side he wants, and Spurs power through the league. All the big teams are beaten, and we power towards the first Premier League title. Just when it seems that no one can catch us, Argentina invades The Falklands and war breaks out. Pochettino leaves.....the rest of the season goes Spursy.

The Day After Tomorrow 2: despite the hottest spring on record, a new Ice Age vortex descends on N17 just as Spurs are about to seal the league title. The only building left unfrozen is Archway Sheet Metal on account of being on fire again.
