I just tossed a coin 38 times it went:

H, H, H, H, T, H, H, T, T, H, H, T, H, T, T, T, T, H, T, H ,T, T, H ,T, T, T, T, T, H, H, T, H, T, H, H, T, T, T

Tails won 20 points to 18.

Now I've tossed it another 5 times:

T, H, T, T, T,

What a tosser.

So we're now even on points compared to last year's fixtures, the wins over fulham and Villa making up for the losses to Wigan and West Ham, Onwards and upwards!!

Er, no. The losses to Wigan/West Ham replaced wins (-6 points), whereas the wins against Fulham/Villa replaced draws (+4 points). I think that we are currently 3 points down on last season.

We are def not even. We drew home to villa and away to fulham last year, so those two games are +4 now, but we beat Wigan and WHam last year, so those games are -6. We also beat city home last year, so -2 there, and won away to WBA equivalent hull, so that's another -4. Stoke was a win away last year, and Wolves is obviously a +3.

This is the key one as guess - depends who you use as the equivalent. If you go with Burnley then we are +1, but if you go with Hull we are -2!

sorry misread the chart by THFC6061 on page 1, at least we're now on the right track and other results have gone our way so far , we're well placed despite an inconsistent start. if we can keep this chart going it would be great to follow

Hull finished second bottom last season, WBA finished 2nd in the Championship last season. Burnleys equivs are Newcastle, Portsmouths are Newcastle.

Spurs are now just two points behind our all-time Premier League record total of 16 after 8 matches set last season.

We'll have to add two more wins against Everton at home and Manchester United away to set a new club record of 20 points from our first 10 Premier League matches...

Everton and Manure will be a tough couple of games...but 'we can do it' (excuse the Obama pep talk rhetoric? haha). I have been lucky enough to have regarded Old Trafford as a place to take maximum points (on occasion)....and, in view of recent 'upheavals' at OT, why can we not 'twist the knife' (one, nay two extra) deep in the Manure soft bits? I am however reminded of 30 years of pain.....and 'what could have been' tales and dreams. It has to end, at some time, so let's look to a positive outcome....again COYS!

I like these comparisons they're good fun and guess they do have some bearing although I'm sure the league is more evenly matched this season the top teams are not so far out in front of the teams in mid table any more and so I can see the points tally being more evenly spread at the season's end.
