I know Bissouma isn't a DM but that has potential to be absolute madness and I'm here for that.

Makes a change from watching 8 minutes of rondos only, which I'm convinced is the only training that we did under Conte.

Maybe it is possible, but with those two together we still had a double pivot sitting in front of either 2 or 3 centre backs.

Yeah I think can see him becoming one of our more important players funnily enough.

He's easily the best defensive full-back we've got in the squad and also much more suited to playing the inverted role in Ange's system than he ever was as a wing-back under Conte.

Future cult hero potential.

Think Bissouma was crushed confidence wise under Conte (&injuries); he was full flowing at Brighton … hoping Ange brings out the full player I believe he is

Nah, I can't see Kulu and Maddison as 8's... Bit of a waste of their talent. I think Maddison is a perfect hook to link midfield and attack, the thing we've been missing since Eriksen left.

Postecoglou really seems like he will go with a 433. Maddison would seem to be locked into an 8 in that formation. Maybe occasionally playing wide.

I think there are more optimal players for the double 8/mezzala in a mid 3. And Kulu/Son are likely better suited to the wide forward role. One thing he keeps saying is he uses different formations to suit the best lineup he can get from the squad, so I feel we'll be more malleable in that regard.

Its more the system anyway. Poch's peak team could flow in shape as wing backs joined attacks, dm's dropped to cb, Dele raumdeutering... I see something similar being possible.

Looks like the match against Roma is in doubt - with Roma possibly pulling out of their Asian tour.

Spurs would still play - but would find another opponent.

That latest training video is so good to watch. Quick fast penetrative football with big Ange watching on. The coaching staff look really engaged.
