My worry, is that as good as Ange seems to be at getting the team more aggressive and creative in the middle to final third, he doesnt seem to have had any impact on our defensive shape.

Our defenders are not worse than Newcastles but they looked much better than ours because they were well coached.

You can imo but the fullbacks have to be very quick, powerful and capable of dealing with transitions, 1v1s and crosses.

Udogie is perfect for it.

Porro cannot do it, he simply lacks the height, physicality and defensive awareness/ability.

Still really like what I'm seeing, a lot of players not match fit and whole team needs time to click and get used to the new style of play.

That being said I'd like to see a little more from Kulu and obviously our defence is a shambles as ever and needs strengthening as every man and their dog knows.
