Hot take of the day, our second string front three are better in this system than our first string.
One of the issues with Son and Kane is that they're - politically - undroppable. Seeing this does make the prospect of losing Kane more palatable.

He’s not cut out for the Prem at this stage in his career. Not denying his quality on the ball, but don’t see it working for him this year.
Thing is, as a pivot point, he can receive passes on either foot, swivel, and play the ball into the path of forward runs. I'm not saying he should start/play 90 mins, but there's definite value in him being part of the squad.

Solomon is very Lennon-esque on the right the way he chops on the outside. LIke him a lot so far and seems comfortable on either wing.

He's class for Croatia in attack. As an attacking sub he could be very useful this season. Also considering we wouldn't really sell him for anything it seems pointless to let him go. I guess it depends how many non homegrown we have for the season.

Yeah Perisic as a wide forward in a team that dominates the ball is totally different to a wing-back in a team with low possession. He'd be fine as an option this season in this system I think.
