And the clinical finishing. 5 goals from 7 attempts on target according to the stats I'm looking at.
It's something we badly need to improve on.
Yeah, that's not really a good thing. That kind of rate simply isn't sustainable - it suggest more than anything they've had a lot of luck.

Can’t stomach an arsenal win today. Just got to hope Man City won else they’ll be too many annoying happy fans about.

Anyone who thinks Arsenal aren’t a threat are deluding themselves. They may have had an easy run on paper and ridden their luck at times, but we’ve made harder work of so called ‘easy games’.

Winning breeds confidence and 9 wins on the trot is no mean feat, no matter who you play against.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they nick 4th spot over us. The game at the Emirates is massive.

5 goals from an xG of 1.6 is mind-bogglingly clinical.

Arsenal look a lot better than expected, but there's a long way to go yet and they will have a stickier patch at some point.

So the concensus is: give Arsenal 4th now. ??? WOMAN UP, dudes

No, the consensus is stop arrogantly dismissing them because we’ve been better than them for the last couple of seasons.

We’re in a dog fight with them for 4th place and either team could come out on top.

I’m not convinced that’s the consensus, even though I agree we shouldn’t arrogantly dismiss them.

But whatever the consensus is, I do think we’re better than them, and also that we shouldn’t be thinking that 4th place is the best we can achieve.

Just noticed we have crap game scheduling coming up after the 3pm West Ham game on Sat week.

We get
20.00 (h) Man City (MNF)
19.45 (a) Wolves (Sat)
17.30 (a) Palace (Sat)
17.30 (h) Chelsea (Sat)

I agree entirely but to read some posts on here.... We're not even mid way through October. So much football to play. But yes, dogfight for fourth is on and will be long, slow, painful, protracted process. Hey, we couldn't say that in 2013 talk about progression of sorts! COYS!

Should be a pen. Giroud moves the ball, Hoedt takes Giroud. Very obvious change in direction and the ref figured it had to be Hoedt.

Edit. Doesn't matter now.
