It helps them build momentum though. I watched that Fulham game and they played some excellent attacking football. We on the other hand scraped a victory against Fulham.

I agree - the funny thing is if we went on such a run, people would be lauding the team but when its others - we bury our head in the sand and downplay it by saying that theyre playing shit teams. We played a shit shit shit team yesterday and half hour against 10 men but we struggled. Are we a better team? most likely but are they improving? most definitely.

I already know the line... You can only beay whats in front of your. A poster in early September put it so succinctly. This group has been together for 4 seasons now. Only improvement or proper squad players added in 4 seasons were Wanyama, Sanchez and Moura...we still to see his impact fully.

We need freshening up and as a club have scored a massive own goal this past window by not reinforcing.
