But this was a much trickier situation on where to place the line for the 2nd to last opponent. But once it was placed, it's not even one of the ten closest of the season.
Exactly, wasn't difficult at all. I was shouting offside at the Tv for a good three minutes. You can ask my wife ?
BTW I thought it was offside in real time too. Pre Var lino might have flagged

If we can do the business in our next two matches, we'll put a big marker down and fixtures for the four chasers of 4th get pretty contrasting after that. If we keep our form and results through the next 4 - against sides currently 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th - we'll be well in charge of the race for 4th.

All three of our rivals have to play Chelsea - who could be dragged back into it if their form falls down.
Arsenal play their three rivals for 4th, plus Chelsea. Tonight helped a lot because a heavy defeat to Palace will drain confidence and make them risk averse.
West Ham have Chelsea and City to play in addition to that gooner game. And Europe.
United may get going again over the next two, but I don't expect them to do anything vs Liverpool.

So things are looking decent in terms of fixtures and schedule.
Also if it comes down to final day we finally have on paper at least an easy game away to Norwich whereas in the past when it’s been crunch time our final 2 games and very final game have been way tougher than our competitors in terms of how the fixtures fell.

Hoping we are watching a sliding doors experiment. Spurs last week - 1-0 down and not doing much, equaliser just before half time, romp to 5-1 win. Arsenal this week 1-0 down not doing much, equaliser just before half time, disallowed by VAR….

If arsenal lose or drop points and man.u already have this is the type of game we’d usually shit our pants but I don’t think we would today if the pressure is on because we have a manager who is world class, a solid system the players believe in and know how to play and are confident in And we have a team full of experienced pros who know how to get the job done.

In the past in crunch times we always lacks elements of this.

it’s go time today , please hold on Brighton and then we need to step up to the plate.

I am not watching the Arse game but feel Arse will score and even if Arse lose it wont alter much other than mentality which is a strong thing here...
