It's a goal scoring opportunity for me, Yakubu only has to swing his leg and he scores.

I agree, but the bounce of the ball gave the ref half an excuse to bottle it. And he took it.

Don't forget that its getting late in the season for refs and not just players. They've been doing games once or twice a week since July just like the players. Add in that the Select Group barely has more refs then PL games with Attwell getting dropped and Walton moving to the US. Teams today got to rotate their squad around but the refs don't really get that opportunity. Its 180 minutes in two days for many of these guys. Michael Oliver is 27 so he can handle it but some of these guys in their 40s? I'm sure they're getting exhausted by the end of these games. Is it really a surprise that the number of errors is increasing late in the season?

Except that he was woeful on Monday.

Just looking at the table/fixtures, provided Liverpool don't get a winner, by the time they play their next league game they could be 12th...

Yeah by not penalising Holt and Co for there constant holding and backing in he gave himself the problem of not giving the penalty because he knew what Holt was up to and it made him look stupid.

Didn't get much better from then on. They had carte blache to foul us with not a sniff of a card.

Not trying to offend or anything, but where were you when we were down there?

Ah I have lived the bad days mate and suffered in a town filled with supporters of red shirted teams.

It is more of a reflection of Liverpool fans and the shit I have had to listen to for 30 odd years from them. They are a sickening shower of wankers.

Will be very interesting to see if this affects Blackburn going into the end of the season. Stuffing's been well and truly knocked out of them.

I hope Liverpool finish the season strong so they keep a bit of faith in Dogleash and keep him on, he seems well out of place in the modern game to me.

to me it looked like the only reason Carroll was onside was because a scouse player was wrestling with a defender on the goal line.
