Anyone watching the early game, ManUre v Wet Spam?

Half time now and from all reports it's a fantastic game. ManU go 3-0 up thanks to a Ronaldo double that was presented to him on a plate and a screamer by Tevez. Ashton gets one back with an overhead kick (Eek) and Nani then promptly gets sent off for headbutting Neill!

Fergie's going to rip Nani's head off if they can't hold this lead, so he won't be headbutting anyone else in the near future!

United 2 up but with only ten men for the whole second half ... this is going to be very interesting.

Nani needs a big ban. They need to start stamping out these cheats.

I think ManU are too strong for Westham even with 10 though.

Great first half though

You could probably form a long queue of the people that want to headbutt Lucas Neill.

Uncalled for though, but it's added a bit of life to a game that was going to fizzle out 2nd half with Utd having such a lead.

Class goals from Tevez and Ashton.

Carrick 4-1. Big deflection. Been that kinda game for the spammers.

4-1. Not totally unexpected, as chrissivad said, ManUre even with 10 are a class above.

Long shot by Carrick, but massively deflected off Neill I think. Where was the defence to close him down?

I will KY, I'd rather see us drop down to 12th than the Chavs winning.

no, a draw will be fine :-|

wouldn't wantether to win

Wouldn't a draw leave the door ajar for Chelsea to steal the PL on the last day (pending a Utd loss)? I'd rather it was sown up before the last day so Chelsea had nothing to play for on the last day.

Dunno, Chris, Wigan havent been conceding that many goals lately. Might be tougher than everyone thinks.

Congratulations to Fulham

The Great Escape is still on, they're above the drop now and they were practically relegated at half time v Man City. Very impressive turnaround.

Roy Hodgson has never got the recognition he deserves in England, let's hope he gets it if they can keep their place next week.

Looks pretty bleak for Birmingham now. Would be quite glad if Fulham stayed up as the away game there is always good fun...particularly if it was at the expense of Bolton.

Special mention to Derby who after losing today are now officially the worst team in Premier League history.

Also to Nottingham Forest who are finally back in the Championship.

yeah, they won 2-0 at villa today. will be a tricky game for united but the fact that wigan secured their PL status with todays win might make it a bit easier for united. we'll have to see, but i really do hope chelsea win nothing.
