Perfect result for us. Best case scenario, we shorten Manure's lead on us and extend our lead over Chelsea. Worst case scenario we keep 3rd place and still have a comfortable lead over Chelsea.

Well glad United got back. I was sitting there just thinking how the fuck are Chelsea 3-0 up against United without really even playing that well.

Same. The comeback from United will paper over how poor they were at the start of the second half - even the senior players (esp Rio) looked like they lost their way. Silly/clumsy challenge from Sturridge and introduction of Scholes turned the game.

Had a fiver on United to win at 1-0 (6/1), then at 3-0 I stuck 50p on 4-4 at 100/1, how fustrating

Ye because ours dont do that......

We have some shit fans just like every other club does, but the proportion of shit fans to normal fans is higher for some clubs, like Chelsea.

cisse looked good for NEwcastle today, I wonder if they have made another master stroke with a relatively unknown African signing (Spursking hasn't switched to posting on Newcastle forums has he?)

To be honest, I'm pretty miffed we didn't look at him. It's clear he's got talent, and he wasn't exactly expensive.

Disagree, show discontent at the final whistle if you must but stay in the ground and support the team you've paid to see when things have gone against them and they need the fans to give them a boost.

If you've paid upwards of 50 quid to go and watch what essentially amounts to a bit of entertainment then it's surely your prerogative to leave when you feel like it.

anyway, it's not something I massively care about either way, it was just the use of the word "disgrace" that wound me up :)

Just watched MOTD2 and was going to say the same thing. All we hear is how we can afford Damiao or Remy like they are the only 2 strikers in the world. Newcastle have assembled a fantastic team and haven't spent a lot but Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse both look like they could play for any team in the league.
