How about giving the manager a chance?
You know Harrys team lost 5 1 to city at the Lane.
The team Harry had should have been challenging for the title not scraping 4 and collapsing in the final third of the season.
So maybe in that respect we have moved backwards.
Bale and Modric weren't world class when they turned up, far from it.
Giving MoPo's side a little patience and we could be rewarded.
Understanding that going to city a getting beat is what happens to most teams.
We were unlucky with the decision s against us.
We played well and I'm happy to see progress.

Fair enough. But I can't say I share your optimism. I don't see progress against the elite teams. I don't see progress in terms of squad quality. We are stuck in a cycle of buy - develop - sell in regards to our best players, and probably always will be until ENIC sell up to someone with more money than sense.

I wonder sometimes if it is only a Spurs thing, but how some of our fans can watch a young player like Lamela and brand him "shit", is truly staggering.

Maybe it was the price tag or the fact he isn't Welsh.

I would be surprised if any other player has created more opportunities than Lamela this season.

Equally, while I certainly wouldn't describe him as "shit", I do wonder why some rate him so highly. He obviously needs time, but I do wonder whether he is quite cut out for the Premiership. Will he toughen up and kick on, or while he fancy a quick escape back to Italy or Spain? I think he just looks too slow to survive in the Premiership. Time will tell, I guess.

A lot of people were saying Chadli was too slow last season and now look at the form he's having

Don't. After watching him lumber around the pitch on Boxing Day last year, I really thought we'd bought a dud. That was a truly horrible game and he had an absolute shocker.

Erm...have you already forgot the NLD...?

One game out of how many? How terrible was he against City? Our poor record against the top sides points to some pretty poor performances from Dawson, Kaboul and Vertonghen. Before that Gallas and King provided some reliability but King's power had faded by his final season and Gallas also, by the end, was either excellent or terrible and nowhere in-between.

You said in the big games he falls to pieces. I was just giving an extremely recent example where he did not fall to pieces. I never said he was good in all the others, he was poor a lot of last season and was poor against City.

I really believe that pochi is doing what he wanted to do.
If board can buy more than 2 player he wants, then we will see our shiny future.

Also, some people said Fazio did terrible job in this game, but I don't agree with it.
He backed up the Kaboul and Rose when he needed to and tried to keep find his place to defend.
For me, it was really good to see Fazio in league game and want to see him more often

There was nothing to be proud of last week

Look at what West Ham did to City and we have fans proud of us taking a 4-1 beating?

Hey, i'm still proud of Tottenham. Could get fucking relegated and i'd still be proud of the team I support. Disgusted at what was happening, but proud I support Tottenham.

Shit game today, awful everything really. Obviously pissed off with most things to do with Spurs this afternoon. Still proud of being part of Tottenham.

Onwards and upwards. Coys.

Proud of what?

We are a laughing stock

The team is full of useless players

Get rid if the lot. And that includes Lamela.

I would expect a lot more for £30m

I'd be tempted to go for Kane and Soldado next week. Lamela as impact sub.

Not that he has been too bad but maybe we should try to freshen things up a little.
