Part of me has always thought the Welsh language is an inside joke at English people's expense and doesn't actually exist. Like they make it up on the spot to amuse one another.

Really enjoying this match and cheering on the Welsh. Wish our lads played with some of this passion.

I'm sorry that so many of you feel agrieved at the Welsh team celebrating England's defeat at the hands of mighty Iceland..........in my experience (and that's quite a long time!) ALL the other home countries, and I include the Irish Republic, will always take delight in the downfall of the 'old', 'auld' enemy. There's a 1001 reasons and it's not an aggressive, mean or nasty thing, it's about being so much under valued, underappreciated and overlooked. For once we've come out ahead of ENGLAND....and we're going to enjoy it! Another few weeks and we'll be back to normal. Stay calm boys and listen to the words of Hymns and Arias....we're just offering you that same bottle 'that once held bitter ale'!

COYW!
Sorry, pal, but a lot of it is sheer Anglophobia in my experience, and I've been around over 50 years. It goes beyond sporting rivalry. It's just bigotry. I've seen it myself, when we played Scotland at Wembley in 1983, so I know what I'm talking about.

This game is crying out for the moose, and they bring that big donut on.
