A point away is a point away. They beat Chelsea the other day, they've got their tails up. We should have won, but it's no disaster.

And I couldn't disagree more with the "we're shit" brigade.

Our performance was pretty good. There was plenty to admire for anyone maintaining a degree of mental balance. The stats back it up as well. FFS, we had:
70% possession
Seven shots on target to their zero
Fifteen shots overall to their three
Pass success of 86%

That's really not a "shit" performance.

We still need a proper CF, and a midfield magician. That's not 'News'. We already know that, we've known it for a long time, and it's still true. Until we fill in those missing pieces we will continue to do everything but score against these teams.

You are reeling off stats without actually analyzing their usage. First off it was 55% possession vs a parked bus 4-6-0 formation. e had 7 shots on target but how many were actually in their box? 15 shots to 3 goes back to parked bus comment. Pass success against a parked bus again, however to look deeper the passes were all sideways and slow, nothing incisive, creative or quick.

It was a poor performance against a poor side who sat back because they known fine well we can't beat a parked bus.

We had the desire and skill. QPR defended very well. Kept their shape and organisation.

That's what teams down the bottom should do. Well done Harry.

Nothing to be ashamed of for us and AVB.
NO!!!! AVB OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND SMEARED WITH JAM AND PUT IN A BEEHIVE!!!!!!!!!!

It's actually more an issue with Dembele, we all know he's great at dribbling past people. But today he just got pushed off. He doesn't really have the passing range/ability to compensate.
Scary when he isn't on his dribbling A-game how medoicre he looked.

This isn't kneejerk just never seen a game where he wasnt' so it highlighted his limited attributes I feel... Hence why AVB needs to progress to his 4-3-3 and slot another midfielder in alongside Sandro and Debele.

We should have been 1-0 up right near the start when Adebayor had Defoe's shot rebounded to him, why does he always fall over when he shoots? Very frustrating and it's these sorts of things that can make the difference.

We were luckily not punished for stupid misses against Sunderland but just converting that chance today could have earned us an extra 2 points.

We needed more width, Bale and Lennon did need to stay tighter to the lines. Taking Lennon off was a bad move when we had two defensive mids in the centre of the part (Surely Dembele was the one to make way for Sig.. leaving Lennon as a much bigger goal scoring and goal creating threat left on the pitch).

Harry knows that we struggle against compact, deep defences. He saw it himself last season. So fair play to him for setting up QPR like they were away from home. Of course it would have backfired horribly if Ade had scored (we would have probably scored a hatful), but we didn't take our chances and you have to give credit to Harry for winning his team what could be a crucial point. He out-foxed Andre today.

Not negative, Harry got the tatics right, they seemed to be everywhere all over the pitch working VERY hard. If they play like that every week they weill stay up easily.

a game we probably would have lost last season "going for it!" we were controlled if a little dull. Meh.

If we cant win away from home. Dont lose. We needed that early goal to go in. very unlucky not to be ahead in 10 minutes.

No, the stats merely back up my judgement of our performance. This isn't FM, my opinion comes from watching the game - the stats back up my perception though.

We played well, but miss that final attacking piece. Hence lots of possession with no product, lots of shots with no goals.

Really poor. Hard to say who was worst. Ade, Bale, Walker were all dire!

We really need an all-round striker to play up front on his own - Defoe is not big enough and Ade struggles to shoot.

I actually think that Dembele was the worst of a bad bunch of attackers in our side today.

Our attacking game wasn't helped by a piss poor pitch though, which seemed to do it's best to take the speed out of our game. Just wondering if Harry decided to give the QPR groundsman the past week off

I cant really complain about that result.

QPR offered nothing going forward but kept it tight at the back, fair play to them.

In a game like this you just need one chance, which we had but Ade didn't take.

Its a point away from home. We move on.

Spot on, I like they guy and he has added drive and steel to our midfield, but he isn't a creative force. Dembele looked completely lost today after he found out in the first ten mins that today he wasn't going to be able to use his 'drop the shoulder and glide past the man' trick against Mbia.

Same old story for me with defoe upfront we look unimaginative and I said this the other day about this season

when we play defoe he has a good performance and the team performance is bad
or if he isnt playing we have a good team performance but dont have a cutting edge

Would have liked us to have gone three at the back and brought Thudd on to sit deep and try to hit some passes through them. With no strikers to worry about we could have tried something different.

Anyway clueless Harry again shows he knows something about football. I work near to QPR so have a lot of friends who support them and they will be happy

We lack creativity, movement and more importantly tempo when we play teams that want to park the bus. We are so bloody pedestrian its not funny. And if anyone doesn't think we need a decent striker then they know nothing about football. Thats a grand total of 2 goals in four games against the might of Norwich, West Brom, Wigan, QPR and 3 of those games were at home.

When a team doesn't even play a striker at home a 0-0 should come as no surprise.
I was surprised not to see BAE play today his unpredictability is bonus against a ten man defence.
