Yes, but the writing is on the wall to be 2 - come tomorrow. Liverpool don't need to worry since we slipped up.. CFC will be going all out to make it 2 pts.

Liverpool should be very worried if lose tomorrow, they'd be level on pts with Chelsea on last day playing against a very good defensive team in Brighton who they'd have to beat. They'd get over line but I think they'd rather get job done tomorrow so they can rest players for CL final.

When we finished 3rd in a 2 horse race our last 4 matches were 2 draws and 2 losses. So we can and have started this seasons spursy right now. Predict 1pt from last 2 games.
I’m worried. If we need anything from that last game I can see it going horribly wrong. We’re just not playing well enough at the moment to withstand any sort of pressure.

We are an absolute joke at present, I called this out after the Brighton game, we was going to choke and so we are proving.

We were lucky against Watford and wont get away with a performance like that against Leicester or Newcastle.

Performances like today just show this team is not learning, this is the same end as 2016 and its a fucking joke

Whilst I didn't think we would get top 4 before season started due to Wembley to get ourselves into this position to bottle it is so frustrating..... giving it to Chelsea on a plate

We badly need Pool to win tomorrow

if Chelsea beat Liverpool tomorrow and bring it down to 2pts, we still only need 4pts from our last 2 matches. yes being Spurs means that might not be an easy task, but both Newcastle and Leicester are on the beach at the moment. if Chelsea draw tomorrow we will only need 1 win, and if Liverpool win we only need a point

Said it in the match thread. Can't believe some would prefer a draw to a Liverpool win.

Liverpool win means we only need two points from our last two. Surely do-able to labour over the line even with our current form.

If it's a draw, that makes things a bit tetchier potentially relying on goal difference. Likelihood is if it's a draw we'd have to win one of our last two.

Newcastle and Leicester might be on the beach, but we're pretty well placed by the pool ourselves. Reason to worry

Whichever way it goes tomorrow it's still in our own hands. If Chelsea win we can still secure 3rd and if Liverpool win, well then it's one point to secure CL unless Chelsea can makes makes up a 10 goal difference. On the face of it, being at Wembley all season and with key players injured for critical periods that's still good enough for me.

we only need 1pt if Liverpool win unless you really believe Chelsea will turn a 10 goals GD around

both Newcastle and Leicester are on the beach at the moment.

You can bet your bottom dollar that they will put their buckets and spades away when they play us- especially Leicester.
We’ll need to be playing at the top of our game to get the necessary points. If we’re nervous of below par Mahrez and Vardy will have a field day.

Agree with you, some fans are just blind and not watching our current performances and think we will still get 3rd.

We are in shocking form and the players heads are gone, Monday night showed it, a better team beat us.

I don't see us getting to 75 pts this season so we need help

wow this place is like visiting RAWK, so many panicking. yes we lost today but we definitely ain't by the pool. when we went a goal down we made an attempt to get back in the game, a game we totally dominated other than a few moments, and had it not been for their keeper this forum would of been so much quieter.

the difference with Leicester and Newcastle is they don't seem to be putting any effort in, i mean for fuck sake Leicester lost their final home game to Wet Spam, and Newcastle lost to Watford.

was listening to SSN while streaming the game, Vardy and Mahrez hardly touched the ball in the 1st half. you would of thought they would of made some effort in their final home game, for their home support

Was working today so missed the game and don’t have the emotional attachment involved.

Normally level headed but a bit panicked right now.

We've been here before and this smells exactly like 2 seasons ago. "surely we'll get at least x amount of points from games against x shit teams".

We'll piss it away and be a laughing stock all over again.

That's such a pessimistic view but would anyone be surprised?

If Chelsea win tomorrow...:cautious:

Home games against sides already safe (Newcastle and Leicester), surely we can't fuck this up?
Surely you can’t believe that we can’t fuck it up, I would say at this point more likely we will fuck it up than won’t, we’re sinking faster than a fat gran on popped lilo in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean

we have a squad that knows that if they fail to get 4 more points they will lose a pretty big bonus next season in playing in the CL. the points we have dropped since we beat Chelsea have all been teams that had something to play for, City the title, Brighton & WBA survival. Newcastle and Leicester have absolutely nothing to play for

if Chelsea win tomorrow then Liverpool will be panicking too, and yes we will be in a position of failure, but at least wait until the result of tomorrow before you start throwing your toys out of the pram

Good we have Newcastle with nothing to play for, how’d that go last time?

This is killing me.

After a tough start, we started to really kick on and now we're limping over the finish line, hopefully for 4th, hoping for other teams to do us favours.

4 points from Brighton, Watford and West Brom.

We desperately need a shakeup, but what's going to change in 3 days? It's hard to see us getting 3 points from Newcastle and Leicester let alone 6.
