Totally unacceptable if we end up messing this up. Worse than any bottle job scenario in years. How the hell have we gone from 10 points in front, to now potentially just 2?? Nothing surprises me with this joke of a club we support. No wonder we get ripped to shreds by rival supporters so much. We are a comical joke.

Well fuck off and support someone else then. Cry baby.

Thing is if we win Wednesday the pressure will be on Liverpool as much as us for the weekend !

It's crazy, Chelsea looked in worse much form than us a month or so ago but have become a relentlessbwinning machine. We've gone from the form team to a shocking one, even our two wins were ropey. Have to say if Chelsea hang on to a win here I'm gonna get a bit twitchy, despite being pretty calm after WBA.

I’d feel confident if our form wasn’t so dreadful. As it stands, I think 5th is where we’ll finish.

I understand the sentiment around that but it would be a monumental disaster were that to happen. We would be the laughing stock. Like the season when 3rd was up for grabs under Harry.

Actually, us not even getting a point yesterday could really cost us. If Chelsea win now then we’d of been 3 points ahead instead of 2 and with our goal difference we’d of been safe not winning a game. Beat Newcastle then we’d of been there. But now it will go to the last weekend which is really annoying. If Chelsea win this afternoon of course.

I wish people would stop wetting their pants. It's only half time. We're still control our own fate regardless. This forum has taken a massive turn toward negative sensationalism with everybody eager to proclaim "I said we were shit and legends first!". I suspect that the vast majority barely remember anything before Redknapp, get a grip.

Unfortunately with the players we have I don’t see us finishing in the top 4. These players have shown on numerous occasions that when the pressure is on they can’t handle it. If Chelsea do win this then we will be dreadful against Newcastle and be lucky to come away with a point.

Hey I hope I am wrong!
You mean like when they went to Stamford Bridge where we haven’t won there for 30 years and spanked them ?

I think the legends are in the stands not on the pitch at our club. Man up and grow a pair.

And if we miss out on the top 4, what will that result mean ? Another we put pressure trophy in the bag. Sorry but this lot are a bunch of legends. THe supporters making excuses for them live in cloud cuckoo land. Whenever the going gets tough, this lot crumble and fold like a pack of cards. It's happened so many times. Haven't won a major trophy in 10 years and doing our damn best to mess up a 10 point lead we had on Chelsea. They truely know how to put our supporters on edge this club.

Salah, for all his greatness, can have the fewest touches today from either side.. Oh, fuck off

If this bunch manage to piss away a 10 point lead to even make the CL, as well as bottling a semi final, they can piss off if they have the cheek to ask for a move.

We can still get top four. I'm not melting yet. But it will be a real test for these players. After the CL exist and FA Cup exit they have forged a reputation as legends....and they have done themselves no favours by strolling around in the past two matches like they were home and dry.

After Poch's fury at the bottling two seasons ago, against Chelsea and Newcastle, you'd think they'd have matured enough. Obviously not.

One thing is for sure, if we don't get into the top four then there will be a very strong argument that these players aren't as good as they now seem to think they are.

Sitting in this position, praying for Pool to score, this is just shocking stuff...
This will be the worst bottle job if we miss out top 4, 10 points clear with 6 to play, joke.

Please pool score and give us a lift

That's football though, its a game where those deemed good enough never ever have to face consequences. They can take a club down or just generally underperform, and if they've got a good enough agent or enough buzz surrounding them they'll just leave and it's the fans and 'worse' players left to pick up the pieces
