Cardiff kick off against Palace before the Brighton game. So if Cardiff fail to win, Brighton are effectively safe.

I see Arsenal winning their last two games, and being on 72 points.

That’s true. Better hope Cardiff beat Palace then!

So SC nerds, what do you make of that outcome?
Definitely better than a United win, as two draws would almost certainly be enough for CL. Would have preferred a Chelsea win as that would have taken United out of the equation altogether.

It improves our chances of finishing above Chelsea, but keeps United’s hopes alive. I guess that puts some additional pressure on Chelsea and Farcenal.

I think it will hurt Arsenal and Chelsea not being in the Champions League more than it will hurt United, so I was hoping for a United win. However, from a Spurs perspective the draw is a good result for us. Just such a shame we didn't do the business yesterday, we'd have been home and dry now.

Like I said - we should change the title... 3rd is wrapped up. No matter how shit we will be in the last two games, the others are worse.

We play the early game next Saturday. A win against Bournemouth would dampen the spirits of all associated with arsenal and United even before they play their respective games for that weekend, as that would leave them with only Chelsea to chase.

That will suit me fine.

oo

You see them winning at Burnley where City squeaked a 1-0 and we lost 2-1? I wouldn’t put a penny on them winning there.

Depends if Burnley play their reserve keeper against them like West Brom did that year and he turned in one of the most inept goalkeeping performances of modern times. Never underestimate their luck.

I was going to click agree but how could it do Chelsea any harm? Hazard is basically leaving anyway and its looking like they can't sign anyone so the lure of CL football is irrelevant...

Chelsea have a tough two games ahead with Watford Lonsdale Boxing Bastards home and then a revitalised Leicester away. I don’t think anyone should presume that Leicester will be at the beach for that game. Brendan Rogers is ruthlessly ambitious and will be looking to scalp the so called top six whethever he can. Every game is a job interview for a bigger club in his mind.

Arsenal host Brighton, who’ll probably do the same as they did against us. That could go to the wire. And Brexiteer Burnley will slap and shitfumble them across the park; they’re exactly the sort of team Arsenal hate playing.

United- well who the fuck knows? It’ll probably come down to how bothered Pogba is. If he’s had a good session on Fortnite, he might be up for it.

And us. I think we’ve got three points in us but that’ll be dependent on how many first teamers we have at our disposal. If we can scrap our way out of this year’s CL group after our disaterous start, we should have it in us to beat Bournemouth or Everton

With Sissoko and Winks likely back next weekend, I’m feeling more confident against Bournemouth. Our midfield is currently our weakest dept.

Just hope we don’t incur any more injuries.

Sonny will be fresh for Bournemouth so expecting a big game from him.

Think that's an important point actually. A full weeks rest for Son will do him the world of good. He put so much into both CL ties against City.

We're all shitting it, but Son will probably end up with a few goals on Saturday.
