The early goal for Arsenal may be good. They might just sit back now, they will be tired after Europa. They already look so dodgy in defence Brighton could get something here. All we need is a draw

We’ve not scored in three games, Everton have kept three clean sheets in a row. We’re without Kane and Son.

Just saying

They also lost 2-0 to Fulham (a) a few weeks ago :woot:

One thing you can always rely on Everton for is inconsistency. I do like them under Silva, though. Think they could have a very good season next year.

If we finish top 4 we deserve it. Unless you think the prem should only have 2 CL spots this year due to us, Arsenal, Chelsea and UTD not being worthy.

Jamie Redknapp is honestly one of the thickest wankers to ever grace television.

You can just tell he goes through a stringent thought process for every single question he gets asked, even questions as simple as “what is your name?”

Come on give him a bit of leeway, he does think he is a bin dipper!

Chelsea and Arsenal have EL matches on thursday and very tough away games just 3 days later. Would not be surprised if a draw, or even a loss, sees us over the line.

Arsenal have already got an absolute bullshit penalty to help them along today, and if it comes down to a shootout in the final game..well..I'm not saying the league is corrupt, but something will definitely transpire to get them that win.

Obviously it's still in our hands, but they're covered in shit at the moment.

If we don't finish in the top 4 this season, its the worst ending to a league campaign in the last 15 years

This is worse than lasagne gate,
worse than Ramos cup winning team
worse than sherwood
And worse than Harry

I just checked we have actually been doing a lot worse than I had imagined, that unless we win or draw against Everton, this will have been our worst finish to a league campaign under ENIC(points wise), so last 18 years

At the moment we have 10 points from the last 11 fixtures. The worst ending to a season was 12 points in 12 games under Hoddle in 2003. We are worse than Ramos, Harry and Sherwood ending to season.

Its crazy because I personally think the players have just turned off and been demoralised after the burnley result and think top is in the bag because the gap was so big

Now we are finding it to be difficult to flip that switch back on and try to win the final league games!

I’ll take Utd out of the equation and live with Chelsea and Arsenal going away to Leicester and Burnley with the Everton result in our hands. That’s probably the best we’re going to get from the footballing gods beyond us getting our shit together
I agree, whilst Son has got us out of the shit earlier in the season on quite a few occasions he knows as we all know that we are deep in the shit now, whether that makes him pull an absolute blinder of a performance out of the bag on Wednesday or will it go the other way and completely fuck him up where he tries too hard to be the hero and snatches at chances knowing that he feels a sense of responsibility that he's let his teammates down and needs to make up for it immediately who knows.

What we all know though is there are big name players in the team who will have a great deal of responsibility on their shoulders and it's time for them to step up in a Spurs shirt when it really matters now. Alli and Eriksen, you are needed now more than you have ever been needed against Everton this week or else it could very well be even worse than the 2015-16 seadon. Will you both stand up and be counted, who knows, the omens and recent form doesn't give us much hope but you have a chance to prove us all wrong.
