A thousand "ifs and buts" over the course of the whole season..... but if Lloris hadn't saved that last minute penalty by Aubameyang...!!!

I repeat.....

Does fourth place in the Premier League qualify for the Champions League group stage?

Clinching a top four spot in the Champions League is considered the holy grail, with each team securing a place in the Champions League group stage.

Got it now????????

Not sure can you say it a little bit slower and in swahili for me

Can anyone clarify whether we need to qualify if we don't win the champions league?

Conflicting reports around

Much more recently, if Brighton didn't (perhaps undeservedly) equalise at the Emirates last week.

Yes but we have 11 from the last 36 points in the EPL. Arsenal are equally lucky we’ve thrown away point after point. It works both ways. Both teams dreadful in run in.

Mate we have a champions league final in a few weeks.
Just drink that in.

4th, 3rd, or 2nd doesn’t matter anymore as they all go into the group stages.

The exact conversation I had with the bloke that sits next to me six times in the second half!

Oh eh oh
Tottenham's in Madrid...

Its on the Premier League site as well explaining all four teams go to group stage.

How do people still not understand this, and I include the media in that?!?

I literally just had a massive debate with two season ticket holders on the walk back to seven sisters. Both seemed absolutely convinced that there was still qualification round for finishing 4th.

Honestly I give up. I feel like this is a wider societal thing of people relying on sound bites for information and a general lack of reading/interest in facts. However, not for in here, and I’m too pleased about our season to get on the soapbox!

COYS!

I'm not looking forward to playing Kickstart medildo in the backwaters of Albania for a place in the group stage.

I love making up these names :D
