If we are honest we are still big outsiders of the 3, realisticly we've have to take at least 6 points from the games away to Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City, and not drop more than 3 points in the other 10 games.

That would give us 90 points and we'd still be dependant on both City and Liverpool slipping up. Big ask.
It's written in the stars.. put the engagement ring on it lads.

I think Kane getting a break is a complete blessing in disguise.

He'll come back refreshed and hugely motivated, as the exceptional professional he is.

He'll be top goal scorer again.

So, here's a couple of quickies in the media

This one is from the Express straight after tonight's 1-1 draw

Hot on the heels of both clubs, however, is Tottenham. Despite Harry Kane and Dele Alli being out until March, Spurs are still in the race for the crown.

Must be a slip of the pen so to speak

This one is from that serial **** who always has it in for us, Greame Souness

After beating Newcastle United 1-0, Tottenham Hotspur are very much part of the Premier League title race picture, according to Graeme Souness.

Which reverses his ****ness and makes him a very good pundit, (until he next says something we don't like)

Meanwhile, over on SpursCommunity, RAWK-like levels of idiocy abound with suggestions of corruption following the linesman's poor performance. But we'll still trawl the stupidity from there to here for us to laugh at because we're not like that at all are we.

Souness is a good pundit but he chats absolutely shit sometimes. Like saying we don’t have match winners but Liverpool do. It’s just drivel.

Did Klopp just have a Benitez 'fact' style meltdown on camera or are people exaggerating? It'd be hilarious if he were actually having a hissy.

Except he had nearly the exact same injury last season (March 12 - April 1), came back very quickly, tried to play his way back into form and looked off it for the remainder of the season.

He's taken more time with this injury already, so hopefully lessons learned.

I'd have thought someone with your football forum experience would know what football fans are about.

Monday night games are awful as you are always playing catch up, they did for us when Leicester won the league.

talking about catch up this is the order of play till the end of March

6/2 - ….Man C only
9/2 & 10/2 - ….1st, Liverpool, - 2nd, Spurs, - 3rd, Man C
23/2 & 24/2 - ….1st, Spurs, - 2nd, Liverpool
27/2 - ….Spurs, Liverpool & Man C same time

2/3 & 3/3 - ….1st, Spurs, - 2nd, Man C - 3rd, Liverpool
9/3 & 10/3 - ….1st, Spurs, - 2nd, Man C - 3rd, Liverpool
16/3 & 17/3 -…. 1st, Man C - 2nd, Spurs, - 3rd, Liverpool
30/3 & 31/3 - ….1st, Man C - 2nd, Liverpool v Spurs

if pressure was to effect Liverpool, this next 7 games weeks could be pretty hurtful to them. so lets hope(y)

If somebody in the summer said "You're 3rd, 9 points ahead of 5th and 5 points behind 1st in February" I would've been over the moon. The fact that we're keeping pace with a side that has only lost once in the league all season is phenomenal. When you look at the fact we're still in Wembley limbo, we've been decimated by injuries to key players and we haven't spent a penny...we're punching.

You're completely correct, though let's also not forget than even when he's not fully fit Kane can still have some serious contribution... He may have had iffy form at the end of last season and he continued to look off pace in the world cup but still went on to become golden boot winner!

I'm not looking too far in the future, but Leicester and Burnley are huge matches for us. We have to pick up points against these types of teams without Kane and Dele.

After that I really hope Kane is eyeing Chelsea as his return date. Two London derbies in 3 days are going to be massive. If we somehow come out of that run with full points, I think we begin to look like real contenders.

I still want to believe that we'll be in the stadium for the final run in, and it could really boost our levels

trouble is they are both playing better than they did early doors, and are both pretty dangerous. Vardy always plays well against us, was so glad they sold Mahrez.

Apparently, Klopp was unhappy with the officiating tonight. Really? Bro-ham, your ONLY goal should not stand as your man was TWO YARDS offside. The linesman had a mare. Pathetic. And still you complain. You won't hear this whingeing from Poch. He's a fucki9ng MAN.
