dawson 7.5- solid

Bassong 8- did really well wasnt outmuscled

bae- 7.5. worked hard, did well

lennon 6- ghostly performance

Jenas 5.5 -no end product, but gave Tommy 90 minutes rest

Palacios 6.5- battled, but struggled to control anything

kranjcar 6.5 - worked hard

keane 5.5 - worked hard, no end product

Crouch 7- one goal disallowed when the ref didnt play advantage, made schwarzer make a fine save on another shot. worked hard

subs

defoe 6- one shot he created from nothing

Modric 6- held possesion better when he came on

The ball was up in the air an awful lot in today's match, so not much opportunity to play the way Spurs prefer. Ground out a tough point away to an "in form" team. Team effort paid off - no MOM necessary

Gomes - 9 - Normally not his biggest fan but simply outstanding today. Would've lost 3 - 0 without those saves for sure.

Corluka - 5.5 - Offered Lennon no help whatsoever and crap passing all game. Solid enough defensively though.

Bassong - 7 - Struggled with a physical Zamora but played well IMO

Dawson - 7 - Solid

BAE - 7 - Good game by Benoit for the most part, although maybe let a couple of crosses come in a little too easily.

Lennon - 5 - Did nothing but in his defence he was completely isolated due to a shit midfield and Corluka not providing any help.

Jenas - 4 - Painful to watch. Offered absolutely nothing in defence or attack. Suicidal passing. How he was allowed to finish the match is beyond me.

Palacios - 7 - Some crap passes again but defensively very good. Won some important tackles.

Kranjcar - 6 - A little off but didn't have a bad game either. He just suffered like Lennon by not having enough help from players around him.

Keane - 5 - Offered nothing.

Crouch - 6 - Very unlucky with his disallowed goal, which was class. Good attempt at the end. Worked hard but lost a lot of headers and had some sloppy touches as well. I like Crouch but when he plays we rely way too much on hoofing it up to him. The amount of times BAE, Corluka and Dawson hoofed it up towards him was one of the reasons why we lost so much possession and came under so much pressure.

Subs

Defoe and Modric didn't really do much.

Redknapp - 4 - Bad tactics today, too much reliance on hoofing towards Crouch. Should never have started with Keane and Jenas and waited far too long to make subs.

Thought the midfield just didn't work well today, and that was the bottom line. Look at the difference when Modric came on. Today was a great advert for the Hudd.

Has to laugh at the Jenas rating. Sure he gave a few balls away but hudd does that every game he plays. Jenas battled well. Our problem was playing the high ball to crouch all the time and fulham dealt with that very well. The way fulham passes the ball from side to side, hudd would have been reduced to a passenger.

Gomes MOTM.
Harry too negative in our appraoch.

Fulham are on song and looked a neat 'little' team again. In fact they passed the ball like we should! Perhaps leaving Huddlestone and Defoe out played into their hands. Fortunately our players worked very hard from a defensive point of view. Gomes made some cracking stops and so we have to thank him for the point. But Crouch was unlucky again. An extra couple of seconds from the ref and he'd have had a goal and then a save from Schwarzer which was equal if not better than the Gomes one from Zamora. The ref was good but why do I get the feeling that had it been the big 4 against Fulham some of the tackles would have earned bookings. Fulham disrupted some serious looking counter attacking moves with cynical fouls. Oh well a point was deserved for the effort if not the attacking nous.
Gomes 9 - more than one important save
Corluka 7 - solid as ever
BAE 7 - cleared once with a right foot wallop (I was amazed)
Bassong 7.5 - battled hard with Zamora
Dawson 7.5 - he and Seb have done really well after a sticky beginning
Palacios 7 - more commanding than of late
Kranjcar 6 - a few shots but didn't find much space
Jenas 6 - improved as the game wore on
Lennon 6 - never an attacking threat but defended well
Crouch 7.5 - did all he could but it wasn't to be
Keane 5 - just not in the game
subs: Defoe 6 - slight improvement on Keano
Modric 7 - great to see him back; quality is so obvious but also ran and chased

No he was not. I agree Jenas did not perform very well but he was certainly not worse then hudd has done for the pass ten games. In fact Jenas can shoot from distance far better then hudd.

can't question the players effort or manager decisison, the players tried their best, Fulham looked better just for excellent defensive back-line. They are very good defensive side. so once again, we looks like crying for Lennon to make the difference against those sides, so may be we need to create more set-pieces for Kranjcar or Bale or even Bentley.

Gomes MOTM. Fantastic display. One flap and about five world class saves to keep the clean sheet.

Rest of the team was a bit meh but we got a point more than either Man U or Liverpool have at this ground this year so I aint complaining.

 It would appear you fall into the minority. And no he does not strike a ball better than the Hudd from any type of distance.

If as you say "in fact" then show me some "fact" thats proves your comment

Adrain Chiles certainly did (if you can call him a pundit) - and that was after the nightmare he had at Fulham last season. Gomes has rammed the words down his throat now and put all the demons behind him. He earned that point for us and it's good to see he's so appreciated by us. I would give him 9 / 10,

BAE 7 - loved his overhead clearance but he did get passed a few times
Charlie - 7 - nothing spectaular in the good or bad stakes, just looked
reliable
Dawson - 8 - commanding in defence - what did Brown do to him behind Bennett's back - he looked really upset about it and Daws doesn't get upset easily
Bassong - 7 - forming a really good partnership with Daws
Jenas - 7 forceful around the box but should have scored
Lennon - 7 didn't really shine today - he was marked and closed down very effectively
Niko - 8 - I just love watching this man - for so many reasons
Palacios - 7 pretty solid
Keano - 6 - such a shame that our Robbie doesn't seem to be able to recapture his former glory - I actually had to ask my daughter if she'd see him touch the ball in the previous 15 minutes - he seems so ineffectual these days.
Crouch 8 - excellent - kept heading down for Keano - only Keano wasn't there. Defended well too but does sometimes mean we play to many long balls. Such a shame his goal was disallowed - whatever happened to the advantage rule?
Modric - 8 - welcome back Luka - really livened up the possibilities from midfield but I want to see some system where he and Niko can play together
Defoe - 7 - clearly the best pairing with Crouchy.
Arry - 7 - a bit cautious in his original selection but was pleased with the double substitution - except that it meant we lost Niko.
Fans - 8 - much better than those of the new library.

well remembered MT - :) have some rep

it wasn't just pundits there were plenty of spurs fans giving him undeserved stick - despite the fact that time and again gomes was playing thru injry a fact that seemed to escape many a pundit and 'supporter' alike
