We fucking lost and failed to beat Everton the week before and have just beaten the European champions with relative ease.


Huddlestone only played in ONE of those games.

Huddlestone played well enough in the first half, not so well in the second but did OK. Did a job. Could Jenas have done the same job ? Without doubt, and did 4 days previously. I repeat, the reason we won tuesday and didn't Saturday was what happened on the left wing and up front. Not what happened in midfield where both games Modric was excellent, both games his CM partner was competent.
