Just watched a re-run of the game and I find some of the comments in this thread baffling, its frustrating that we didn't win the game as we should have been out of sight, we played some good football at times and were nowhere near as bad as has been suggested.

Only heard it on radio5live as i was travelling and both commentators were saying only a matter of time before Spurs get the 3rd!
So dominant it sounded but MOTD made it look much closer?

It was much much closer. Stoke were always in the game and created very good chances throughout the 90mins

We had a good 15 mins in the 1st half and pretty much the same in the 2nd. Other than that I thought we pretty much strolled as a team with the odd exception

Never really got in behind them (apart from a long ball over the top for Chadli when we had had a period of play boring Stoke to death, who then fell asleep and let us in) or created many good attacks and our lack of width (wingers) is a shame to see

a team containing the likes of friedel, king, gallas, parker and van der vaart threw away a 2-0 lead against arsenal which then led to us blowing a 10 point lead on them and losing 3rd. the same team also capitulated 5-1 against chelsea in a semi final. this lack of experience/leader narrative is just the go-to convenient excuse for when something isn't going our way.
What's your take on it then ? Because if you were at the game you would of seen no one trying to rally them after conceding. Heads went down and all of them hid and didn't want the ball and we dropped deeper and deeper. This is where u need a strong voice and a leader to rally a few. Poch tried from the sideline but none of them responded. Leader needed and asap.

I still see a problem not having an outfield captain.....you only get away with it in FM:sneaky:
