Lamela was comfortably our best player in the second half, but because he didn't come through the academy and he isn't one of the golden boys, he still gets vitriol from a bunch of posters baying for his blood any time he puts a foot wrong.

Yes coincidence, Chadli did fuck all when he came on... Not his fault but I'm certainly not going to attribute the comeback to his cameo.

The reason we fought back was momentum, mixed with W'ham losing their shape with the Carton Cole subs and a huge sprinkling of luck.

I wrote he did nothing of notice. So what is your point? Chadli stayed on the fucking left giving us an extra body up front and Wst Ham one more to defend.
I could give him a 5 but who bloody cares, in the end he was on the pitch for 15 minutes and in this time we won 2-0.

But this has nothing to do with my opinion on Walker and Lamela in this game. Had you ever the feeling when one of those two was at the ball?: Yay now sth is happening.

They're not really part of the golden boys, I mean more Bentaleb, Mason, Kane and to some extent Pritchard - who are immune to criticism.

I like Rose, and I think he falls under the umbrella of receiving undue flack.

Gave rose MOTM.
first half for the first 15 we looked good.
Bentaleb nearly scored and Kane hits the post.
We seemed to fall asleep.
Dembele had a shocker.
Rightly subbed.
Lamela wasn't great left.
Townsend wasn't great either.
Game changed with Chadli introduced.
I thought lamela came alive at this point.
He linked up really well with Eriksen and our play seem to pick up.
Harry had a day to forget except for the penalty. He's to greedy sometimes.
But we got the point and if this was one of the big 4 pundits would be saying winning mentality, but we call it luck.
I'm still positive and as much as the first eleven wasnt my choice, I would have Dembele back at 10 for the next game.
Lamela right and Eriksen left.
Vlad a right back would be good to.

Walker 6 usual mixed bag, shared responsibility with Dembele for giving the ball away for their awful first goal
Rose 7 very good apart from the schoolboy error leading to their second, play to the whistle lad
Verts 6 caught out a couplecof times and put Hugo under pressure with unnecessary backpasses
Mason 7 drove us on well although he will be disappointed with his shooting
Bentaleb 8 mom moved it around really nicely, becoming more consistent
Dembele 5 crowded out, no out ball with Lamela nowhere and Kane heavily marked
Lamela 4 on the left, 7 on the right
Townsend 4 poor first touch, poor tracking back,cone decent run and cross
Kane 6 less effective against deeper defences, but still hit the post, set up Rose beautifuly in the first half and had the last laugh,cjust after i had turned the telly off!
Eriksen 7 kept the ball moving well, much more fluid with him out there
Soldado 4 ineffective

Poch??? Second poor selection on the spin, poor subs, Lamela on the left? Chadli has to start, provides balance, goal threat and links well with Rose and Kane
fans, as the other lot put it so eloquently, our support was fs.

I mostly saw West Ham dominating us to such an effect that I don't even know what grades to give.

A lot of very poor balls.

I did notice Kane's selfishness costing us on a couple occasions. All fine and good when he scores, but in many instances he was crowded out, had no option or delayed on the ball and still kept it instead of passing off quickly or being more intelligent with the use of it.

He can't carry the team and he needs to give the rest of them some responsibility.

Oh, Mason really has to work on his shooting.

Even worse than Townsend, Walker, Dembele, Paulinho, Rose...I mean every time he gets the ball and shoots you know it's going to sky over wide or long. Absolutely awful.

Strange as my view from park lane, all were poor, rose even with error was out best player, but lamela for me was awful keeps rolling his feet over the ball and losing possession the only good I saw him do was a couple of corners, few times Dembele would have the ball and lamela was not in a position to take the ball

only one of his shots represented the wrong choice, the one he hooked wide in the first half when he should have laid it off to Rose. he had a steady game, whereas the three behind harry were poo.

Good first 15 minutes. Good last 15 minutes.
I thought Pochettino did well to replace Dembele with Eriksen so early
and it changed the game.
Rose usual mixture of impressive and naive but my MOM overall.
Bentaleb played well and Lloris saved us as usual.
Fightback deserves some plaudits, but element of good fortune about both our goals.
One point salvaged; two points lost.

Are you fucking taking the piss mate? I hope so! He was awful as usual. Such a weak (strength wise) player. Honestly lets the team down with his constant losing the ball and shit dribbling attempts. Gets knocked off the ball so easy and is always eating shit in the ground expecting fouls because he can't hold a ball up.
