If they are mostly on the way out why chose them ?
Disagree that cup games should be low priority.
Because regardless of their transfer status they are the best we've got behind the starters, therefore most likely to get you a result.
Cup games are low priority for financial reasons. I think this is consistent across all big teams.
The coach has to make a judgement call re: freshness; the result alone isn't enough to assess the quality of the call.

Nothing wrong with making 2 or 3 changes to give minutes to players who are in the manager’s plans like Solomon and Emerson. But we’re trying to ship out Sanchez, Hojbjerg and maybe Lo Celso. And it’s worrying if our players are exhausted and need a rest after just 3 matches. And for Levy I’m sure financial issues are his motivation. But he did not pick the team. Unless he did….

I can't see why you shouldn't give mins to players you are trying to ship out; who you play is a meritocratic decision, who you sell is dependent on market conditions as well as squad consideration.

I also don't see why its worrying that guys are tired after 3 matches; if Ange said so, then so be it. Maybe they aren't exhausted; but you want all your guys on top form because thats what you need for a result in PL. We are at a good moment in the PL now so need to ride the wave while we can.

A chairman should be making every decision with financial consideration, i have nothing against that.

We, as fans are particularly sensitive to not winning anything ever. We had 2 chances to do so this season. Ange threw away one in August.
All this rubbish about exhausted players not being able to play Tuesday is extra irritating. We played Real Madrid in CL on Tuesday , I guarantee our 'A' players would be playing and playing perfectly.

Half time change said it all 1-0 down and playing disastrously. Lo Celso off....Scarlett on !! Match thrown away.

Ange, no not 0/10, that's unfair. 3/10 for a serious fuckup.

A chairman should be nowhere near on field decisions.

I don't think its player-exhaustion. They wont be exhausted, but they may not play at 100% for a full 90 mins in a PL game. This might be the difference between 3 pts and no pts.

I belong to the minority of fans that aren't sensitive about not winning anything ever. We have different preferences so will have diff conclusions. Your rationale is sound.
