Soldado and Eriksen were bloody good as well obviously. Get the feeling when Bobby gets a goal he'll be a huge player for us. Really liking his all round game.

Strange how people see things.

I gave it to Ade due to his Leadership, His composure on and off the ball all over the pitch was superb. Heading set pieces away, keeping hold of the ball, good passing and a great header for the goal. We lost control after he went off. However saying that everybody was brilliant in different parts of the match. Lloris was great last 15mins, Capoue did a great job on Rooney. Lennon was good on and off the ball, Walker was great too. Eriksen great cross for the first and very brave for the second goal. My biggest laugh and cheer though was when Harry booted the ball off from an offside position, great stuff got high hopes for this lad.

I thought Kane did exceptionally well when he came on and didn't put a foot wrong apart from at the end when he knocked it out.
Really? I thought it was a moment of sheer genius. The ball was either going back to the keeper or the flag was being raised for offside... Why not waste a little time????

Vlad was supreme, MOTM for me. Ade would have been a contender if hed played on. Lennon was class, tbf the whole team was. Buzzin!

I wasn't referring to the offside boot, as I agree that was genius. I was referring to when he initially did well and held the ball up and then tried to put the ball into space for Lennon to run onto, but instead over hit it and it went out for a throw. Lennon and TS were both not too happy about that, but I think the intention was right (although maybe he could have just held onto it).

Misses one chance and gets a 5? Tough fucking gig.

Clearly you don't really follow football if you are rating Soldado's performance as 5/10

Soldado played some key passes today and if Lennon (who was excellent) had more finesse, he would of had yet another assist.

Genuinely concerned for their sanity.

Finding it difficult to split Chiriches and Eriksen but I have to give man of the match to Vlad given he way playing in between Dawson and Rose. Rose was abysmal today and Dawson is Dawson, but Vlad managed to keep it all together with an absolute masterclass in defending. The goal we did concede was so poor defensively and Vlad does have to take some of the blame for that, but other than that he didn't put a foot wrong all game, he did absolutely everything right. I couldn't quite believe how bad Rose was today, I hope he was just not fit because it was worrying. United picked up on it big time and not only played everything out to their right winger, but also started getting two players wide right to just tear him to pieces, and it was working.

Going forward, Eriksen was brilliant. He and Soldado used the ball so well and Adebayor played well enough too, but he really needs to work on his ball control. It bounces off him too much resulting in a loss of possession. Eriksen was instrumental in both our goals and for that reason I feel he was our best attacking player -great performance and marked it with a goal when he capitalised on a Valencia's shocking defending. He gave us the opportunity to win and Vlad made sure we took it.

Lennon was good again today, he seems to love playing against United. Special mentions for Walker and young Harry Kane, too. I was questioning why Tim brought Kane on but to be fair he did a really good job when he came on and I loved when he just booted the ball away into the crowd just to waste a few more seconds.

Very pleasant surprise in that we got the win. When we conceded a minute after scoring what should have been the goal that made things comfortable, I was fully expecting United to draw level and then maybe even win it, so to hold out was great. That's two years in a row we've won at Old Trafford so I'm a happy man.

Spot on

Rose was our weak link was ripped a new one .

Dawson mistake cost us a goal

Moral of story us we need a new CB and LB at least and another striker as cover

ok... my bad! I thought that one the thought was correct, he was just unlucky that Azza had put the brakes on...

I feel a bit sorry for Rose because he had to deal with two of their biggest threats (Januzaj and Valencia) and although he did make some errors I think he did a few good things too. Certainly not bad enough to warrant being castigated or singled out as a real weak link.

Obviously we could do with a bit of competition in the TW and that a new LB should be high on our list of priorities. But he's definitely better than Kyle Naughton on the left and maybe even Verts (when on the left).

Lloris 8 - very good but a couple of mad decisions.

Walker 8 - didn't get forward much, which wasn't a bad thing as we looked a lot more solid at the back. He dealt with everything Utd threw at him.

Dawson 7 - a much better performance from Daw Daw but his lack of pace and positional play is of concern.

Chiriches 8 - very good performance but at fault for the Utd goal.

Rose 4 - looked unfit and most people would struggle against Valencia but he was very rash in his challenges, easily beaten several times and late on he bombed forward and 'strolled' back when Utd countered.

Lennon 8 - the Lennon of old, a big threat going forward and covered Walker ... should have scored though.

Capoue 7 - kept Carrick and Cleverley quiet.

Dembele 7 - as per Capoue.

Eriksen 7 - quiet 1st 30 mins and needs to work harder defensively but going forward he was excellent.

Soldado 7 - love his vision and the goals will come eventually.

Adebayor 9 - MoM, good goal ... showed great strength on the ball, stretched play and helped out in defence. Hope his injury is only minor.

Bentaleb 7 - helped to thwart Utd's attacks through central midfield.

Chadli 5 - a spectator.

Kane 6 - showed good strength and helped out the midfield. Bye bye Defoe :D.

Rose was shocking really, didn't stop a single cross all game.
I'd hate to see the stats on successful crosses from the right from them, would be near 100% I'd guess.

Chiriches got my vote today, fantastic work by him. But it's really not fair to not give everyone who played today praise, they were all fantastic!

It's very nice that there is no real runaway winner for MOTM on the ratings.

Personally I'd give it to Eriksen who I thought was fantastic, he made some vital interceptions and tried to keep the ball moving. His off the ball movement was absolutely brilliant today, I kept watching him off the ball and he was getting himself into space, making himself available for a pass, making darting runs and getting close to the opposition whenever they got the ball to make their options limited. He continuously looked forwards and made some nice balls to Soldado and Adebayor today. A goal and an assist is a great days effort. He's only 21, I like that :D

How many crosses were attempted and how many were prevented from coming in I think he meant, not how many connected with another United player.

I doubt he prevented one all game..
