Should be shackled and chained and made to walk down the A1 back to London, Spurs fans the length of the country can boo, hiss, spit, swear, throw rotten fruit and veg or flog them to their hearts content along the way.

Can anybody enlighten me as to why Davies was starting ahead of Rose?

Embarrassed and ashamed for the second time in three weeks
for different reasons but same impact.
MOM Lamela (6) for at least turning up and trying though pretty ineffectual, goal apart.
The rest can share 10 between them including Mauricio
but at least he has apologised profusely.
But so he should.
Any sign of the players doing the same?
We get third and make it feel as if we have been relegated.
Oh sorry that was Newcastle.
Worried about next year now
when I should be feeling excited.

Ever since the Chelsea game the players have had one eye on the beach.

Lamela at least worked hard today, other than that they were total dogwank.

The only reason I can think of maybe to give Davies one last chance to prove if he's good enough moving forward to be part of this squad. My personal opinion is I didn't think he was before and today's performance certainly didn't change my mind. He's so flat footed and slow on the turn and for a full back so short of pace he never seems switched on with movement around him. Think we need to look for an alternative in the summer to come in and compete with rose who has really impressed me this year and Is definitely good enough moving forward.

Sloppy from Poch then IMO.

If your team is so out of form you play your best 11. You don't bring another out of form reserve for that reason alone. By all means change it up when the teams playing well.

Son and Mason were awful and deservedly substituted. Carroll and Onomah replaced them. Did nothing. Carroll was extremely poor. They need to be upgraded.

Not sure how Carroll and Mason are getting such dogs abuse (both were poor) yet Dier receiving nowhere near the same. He offered zilch with the ball and if his main job is to sit in and defend..well.. the five against us does him no favours. Let's have a bit of fairness and call a spade a spade.

I think kane worked hard too

He was completely isolated but was running all over the park to get involved

He was even back collecting the ball off lloris and one point

His team mates left him isolated and working off less than scraps

Lamela did well too and Eriksen played well in the brief 10 mins we got back in the game after half time

The rest didn't turn up at all today and it was a shambles of a performance with no heart and no effort

Lloris - 5 - at fault for a few of the goals but made some outstanding saves to keep score down
Walker - 1 - disgrace - gets a 1 for turning up in FIFA regulation kit
Alderweireld - ditto
Vertoghen - ditto
Davies - 0 - gets a fucking zero as this was a chance he did not deserve to show he was actually good enough so you'd have thought as someone who is playing for their Spurs career you'd put some effort in? Nope. Been nice knowing you Ben.
Mason - 1 - disgrace
Dier - 1 - disgrace
Son - 0 - another I think playing for their Spurs future been subbed a few times now after poor work rate performances and his goals can't mask the general lack of impact
Eriksen - 0 - went fucking missing
Lamela - 6 - only one to put any effort in
Kane - 1 - would have got a 3 had I not had to suffer his bullshit in post match interview which pretty much proved the players were already on the beach and patting themselves on the back for getting champions league - fuck off

I can't be fucked to autopsy that lot.

I keep reading lots of bollocks about how it's because we were missing Dembele or about how it was all Mason's fault. Well Dembele was one of the pricks who cost us 3 points from 2-0 up at Chelsea, and unless Mason was wearing a Dembele latex Mission Impossible mask it was also Dembele on the pitch when we unravelled and totally lost control of a game at home to West fucking Brom.

How the fuck Mason was getting all the shit at half time whilst Dier remained blameless I have no idea. Dier's been poor for a month and the common denominator in a midfield that has turned over leads in 3 of the last 4 games, as well as featuring in every single midfield of the 20 points we've turned from leads to losses. And he's had the best CB pairing in the league behind him and the best defensive front four ahead of him, not clowns like Fazio, Chadli and Townsend to wipe up after.

I like Dier, genuinely I do, think he could one day captain this team. But the idiots calling him the next Xabi Alonso in the STWL thread need to be fucking professionally assessed.

The last four weeks haven't been about any individual who has or hasn't played. Just as the rest of the season's success wasn't about one individual. It's been about the group and the coach.

We started poorly, we finished poorly, in-between, as a group and coach, we've been damn good.

If Lamella wasn't at least trying, I hate to think what the result would have been. Pathetic. Fucking abysmally pathetic.

A clear out in required of the useless ****'s that make up the numbers. We look lost without Dembele and Alli. Back up for Demeble, Dier and Kane a priority and please can we get another MF as back up who knows how to fakin play?

I don't mind getting whacked by playing attacking football at 3-1 but FFS how we played to get to 3-1 was horrible to watch. Embarrassing!

I was there in their end of all places and I had to take it up the arse like a gimp and keep my mouth shut....a painful experience.

Apart from my two chums, i've talked only briefly with Spurs fans but coming on here I'm surprised Mason and Carroll are getting stick over Dier...with the ball he was piss poor and just didn't show for it enough.

As usual, you ignore Dembele's huge contribution to our team this season and bizarrely pick on a bad few minutes he had in one match against Chelsea . Why not highlight the many matches when he has been outstanding ? But of course that would reveal the huge flaws in your argument. The facts and statistics stare you in the face. When Dembele plays we hardly ever lose . When he doesn't we have nobody that can step into his role effectively, which is why we hardly ever win when he doesn't play, which I am sure you will say is pure coincidence. Obviously you are never going to accept what everyone else can see. When he doesn't play we are a shadow of the team we are when he does play.
If you had said that we need to sign someone in the summer that can provide back up for Dembele, just like we do for Kane, that would be a fair point. But you choose to stick to your stubborn view about him that in your own words is simply bollocks.
His absence was not the only factor in the capitulation today. But frankly Dier who you single out as poor looks lost without Dembele. But I guess that is just another coincidence ....
