Had to pick Gylfi for the goals, but Eriksen was fucking immense as well. And once again Lamela shows hi pure class in a short cameo, when he gets a few games under his belt he will be fantastic.

Rose MOM for sparing our blushes, but a great debut from Eriksen. Seems to be exactly what we need.

Rose was excellent. Defensively very good and good going forward too. He made some vital interceptions but I have to give it to Eriksen. He made both goals although paulinho got the assist for the second. Didn't give the ball away, and was just a class above generally.

Shout out to Siggy too. He worked his balls off defensively and scored 2 (lest we forget)

8s all round with a 9 to Eriksen and Rose and a 7 to Townsend.

On a side note, Rose needs to keep his temper under control, we don't want him to pick up unnecessary bookings along the year, and Townsend has to be less greedy, it was getting kind of ridiculous. Brilliant performance all round though

i thought they were all great today but Gylfi just shades it from Ericksen and Rose

loris - 5 - Had 4 things to do all game and messed three of them up. Enough of that Hugo
Walker - 5 - Where is the player from two years ago?
Dawson - 5 - Too hoofy, to comical in his defending. I am sensing the end of Dawson this season as we strive on
Vertonghen - 6 - Class act but not much to do
Rose - 8 - His best performance for us and showed some passion
Paulinho - 8 - Quietly brilliant, although was dead for last ten mins
Dembele - 6 - Ok but annoys me, he is so laid back when he should be grabbing holding of the game.
Sigurdsson - 8 - I had 2-0 and a Siggy brace :)
Eriksen - 9 - What a fanastic signing? Quality passing, brought Soldado to life, won the ball back. Excited
Townsend - 7 - Some good runs, shooting just off. Give him time to hone his goaldar but impressed
Soldado - 7 - You could see his quality, concerned we saw nothing off him once Eriksen went off.

Subs - Nothing of note from any of them.

Lloris - 6: Rash at the end
Rose - 8: Really good today, robust and strong in attack
Vertongen - 7: Lucky to get away with that tug on Van Wolf but otherwise solid
Dawson - 7: Solid
Walker - 6: Not at his best. Little understanding with Townsend
Dembele - 7: A good platform
Paulinho - 8: Class; great cross
Siggurdson - 8: Great play for the 2 goals, grew as the game went on
Eriksen - 8: The composure and vision we've been lacking
Townsend - 7: Really positive play, needs to be a little less selfish
Soldado - 7: Important contribution to the first goal, just wish his touch hadn't let him down on his big chance

Holtby - 6: Looked busy, but final ball was lacking
Sandro - 7: Important defensive contribution
Lamela - NET

If eriksen wasn't on the field today there's no way we would have had that team performance. He's fucking great and was MoM.

Oh, and willian can go fuck himself, we got our maestro.

Danny Rose.. best game in a spurs shirt.

Paulinho and Dembele bossed the centre of the park.

Soldado looked dangerous and made some good runs.

Gylfi two class clinical finishes, well done lad.

Eriksen is the player I knew he would be and is will bring the best out of alot of our players.

Townsend... busy but very frustrating, I swear he had 10 shots and only 2 were on target.

The rest had a standard solid performance.

All in all a pleasing dominant performance.

I'm not being funny, but what a signing Paulinho has been so far.

If I could be hypercritical of him, his touch is occasionally slightly loose. That said, completely agree; he's excellent. I just wish Soldado would have more than a half-chance/penalty created for him each game.
